Chapters 1-4. Beautifully written. You've spun a magnificent and heart wrenching tale of love, self deceit and broken heart. Simply wonderful. I'm moved to tears for Jarret and Audric. Definitely looking forward to more updates and the development of this story. Keep up the awesome writing! It's greatly appreciated.

Fail Jarett! I am so disappointed in him, the king needed the kick in the face to get out of his delusions. You must have something else planned for him to realize what a jerk he is. I can see Holden going to the king and complaining or being concerned about him spending so much time with Jerett.

That's so sad, poor Jarette. The king needs to be snapped out of his fantasy land, he needs to suddenly be presented with the loss of Jarette. Maybe like he is injured in battle or he can't take the relationship anymore and he calls it off.

I love it. Now poor Jarret will have to contend with the potential queen to be as well as his other insecurities. I like that the king is not a super human. I would like to see more of the king interacting with Jarrett.
