Welcome back Darkling Willow. I think that Charnig definitely deserved to get dunked in the sewer. What a horrible boy - picking on Pol for his scars. It really would be fitting for him to get a horrible scar of his own. Brigale's story is so sad. His family was wiped out by his mother's brother. I wonder if the boy he killed really was his own son. It seems like such a huge task for Bri to go back and reclaim his property. I hope Pol will be there to help him out.

Tisek's a bastard. I was sort of wavering on the line of declaring him one or not, but I've finally decided. I wonder what he's going to do with Leygen's chain if he finds it. Or even why Leygen was suddenly looking for it himself? I like how little Pol is trying to be Leygen's rock even when he's just as vunerable. I have to admit that I think the vunerablitiy of these characters is the best thing about this story. Pol and Ley are strong, but they also have weaknesses. It makes them more real. ^.^ Anyway, I knew right away that the teen with the garnet chain was Brigale! I thought it was funny how him and Pol meet again first with a fight. Though I have a feeling that their friendship might not be as tight as before.
Overall another great chapter!

Hurray. We meet Brigale again. Too bad it has to be under sad circumstances. Pol really is a brat. I love his creative way of checking Bri out. A few moments of happiness in this beautiful bittersweet story. I don't want Leyjen to cry anymore. I can't believe he has been letting that jerk Tisek push him around especially since Leyjen knows all of Tisek's secrets as well. I hope that Leyjen will find the necklace and pendant that Amraeen gave to him. My heart is still recovering from that breakup. (Amraeen please come back!) I hope everything is going well for you Willow.

I am happy that Pol is talking to Leyjen again but I am so depressed about Amraeen moving away. I suspect that Leyjen's family was behind the breakup. It is very sad because I feel like they keep using Amraeen without regard to his feelings. Amraeen had to step aside for Leyjen's mother, and now he has to step aside again. I hope that one day Leyjen will find out what happened. It is too sad.

Wow! I have to admit that at first I didn't want to read this story. The title just didn't draw me in and I'm very picky with what I read, but I'm so glad that I finally clicked on this story. It's so amazing! Completely worth my time. I couldn't stop reading it and managed to read through all the chapters in two days. I'm so mad at Amareen! He and Leyjen were so cute... Ah, well. I know that when Polinues finally gets over his brat attack he and Leyjen will be even more adorable. I have to say though, even though the title has Polinues' name and he's going to be a great mage of legend and all, Leyjen is my favorite character. I hope simply amazing things happen for him.

What is going on with Amraeen? I am taking Leyjen's pain personally. My heart is filled with despair. I can't imagine what they could do to Amraeen to make him abandon Leyjen like that. Plus Leyjen is fighting with Pol at the same time. I wonder if Pol will still be mean to Ley when he is going through so much pain. It really hurt to see Leyjen throw away the blood drop necklace. It should have reminded Leyjen that nothing could ever make Amraeen stop loving him so quickly. I am still trying to find the story link in the Forums. The link you posted did not work for me. Very stormy chapter. I can't wait to see what Tisek is up to.

I love Amraeen so much and I am so afraid for him. I loved his meeting with Pol. It breaks my heart to see how much tragedy he has already been through. Leyjen is lucky to have two amazing loves for his life.

Pol is having an increasingly bad night. I do wonder how he will react to seeing the beautiful ghostly Amraeen in bed with Leyjen. Will he even understand what is goin on? It seems Pol has a tragic future ahead of him. Just imagining that one day he will be fighting a battle against Arlathi is a nightmare. I am surprised the parents have not come up with a way to deal with the two of them as yet. Maybe they hope that they twins will magically start getting along at some point. It is tough to be Pol - especailly after his parents abandoned him in the fire. Leyjen is the only person he has to turn to. Truly as disastrous moment.

Another excellent chapter and what an ending! Leyjen is truly living a double life. Little Pol is getting more mature every day. I was very impressed by the promise to be less of a burden to Leyjen. I wonder how Pol would react if he should learn about Amraeen. I am guessing he would be consumed with jealousy. This chapter also gave me the feeling that Tisek might be the cause of trouble for Leyjen and Pol in the future. I can't wait to see what happens next.
