Amazing chapter Darkling Willow. My jaw dropped when I realized that the seemingly oblivious Wrailan has been fully aware of everything from the biginning of the story. I feel a lot of anger towards him. He has been a cruel enemy to his son. Plus he willingly decided to leave his five year old son to die in the fire. I wonder if Pol could really love any of family members after remembering how they abandoned him that night. That memory kind of justifies his attitude two chapters back when he questioned why he should want to save humanity. I am mad at Wrailan for abandoning Polinues to the fire and then allowing Arlathi to torment him when they were children and for his future attempt to separate him from Leyjen. How could Leyjen ever leave Pol alone with such a heartless family? Anyway I am all fired up now and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Pol jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire with this latest chapter, narrowly escaping Aanya's attack just to poison himself by drinking Leyjen's blood. I am sure Leyjen will blame himself again. I can see how all this would be a huge burden for Leyjen with Pol getting into danger everytime he looks away for even a second. I am hoping he will not fall into despair. I was so happy to see a new chapter of my favorite story. I hope Pol will not be too damaged from this latest episode

chapter 46: great chapter. I must admit that I actually felt sorry for Jorad. When Leyjen was thinking of how he had turned for the better, I was kind of hoping later that there was a chance for him to live and become proper friends with his cousin. I mean we were just beginning to see how kind and respectful he can be.
It is a bit of a shock to find that Brigale is capable of cold blooded murder and also a little disturbing to see how he doesn't seem to regret doing it. I don't think that Leyjen will react to his suspicion because he didn't seem quite sure whether Brigale had killed her.
and also, hot lovescene you got there. It's wonderful to see how in love they are and I hope theey can stay together always (if only to be able to get more sex scenes) ;)

Chapter 43,44 and 45
Wow that was an eventful Beltane. the journey was a fun read and I like to see how jorad is becoming much more likeable.
I liked the prophetess! her prophecies felt like a vague hint of what is to come. however I must admit that my favourite part of this festival was the fight with Hypnatos. It was just really cool and I could see Leyjen transform in my head as I read it, also, it felt like as he transformed, he became so much more regal. And I don't just mean in appearance but also in the way he spoke and acted.
That was a surprisin bit about Owain growing up with around vampires, cant wait to hear more about that.

Great new chapter. I thought it was amusing that the chapter started with Leyjen feeling all mushy about Pol and then becoming so frustrated that he kicked Pol out of the room later on. I wonder who or what could be stalking Pol? I hope Leyjen will come to the rescue.

Wow. I am doubly shocked. What is up with Brigale? What happened to turn him from a being good soul into being a cold and heartless murderer? At first I thought Polinues was having a nightmare. I am disappointed in Brigale. I am wondering if this marks a change to him becoming a villian. Also Pol should have realized that Leyjen would instantly be able to tell about the murder. Is Brigale sowing seeds of deceit between Leyjen and Pol? I was also shocked about Jorad's infection and death. Was it tetanus or something that they had no hope of curing? Both events were very chilling. I am wondering how Leyjen is going to react to knowing what Brigale did.

Hypnatos has finally met his end. I am so glad that he did not get his hands on poor Tiensin. Now Owain has discovered Leyjen's secret. I was curious about Owain saying that he grew up amongst Vampires. Was the last town he lived in a Vampire stronghold? I imagine the whole group must be traumatized after that adventure. Excellent chapter Darkling Willow. The story is getting more exciting with each chapter. I wanted to tell you that this story is going so well, you should definitely look into publishing it when you are done.

Lovely new chapter Darkling Willow. I got caught up in the excitement of the beach too. This is so much better than going home to Castle Marines and hoping that Arlathi won't be trying to do something evil to Pol. I am especially happy to see Tiensin having fun. I am glad you have been writing lots. I can't wait to see the next chapter.

Awesome chapter Darkling Willow. I am glad that Pol was able to help Owain to be able to support his family with the hook and special axe. Pol is helping Owain and designing tools of death at the same time. I would have thought it would have been a relief for Owain to know that he did not have to become an executioner after all. I was very amused that Pol has started to use sex to get information out of Leyjen. Arlathi on the other hand is getting dangerous. He is scary. It is one thing for him to hate his brother but now he is casting spells on him too? He has just crossed the line to becoming a mortal enemy to his twin brother. It really creates an ominous feeling about the future for these two boys. I am looking forward to seeing what happens next.

so... Hypnatos is back. I knew he would.
It's interesting how Polinues is able to extract anything out of Leyjen, only by doing the exact thing that makes him squirm. and I love that Polinues has made the harness and He and Owain are friends again I just know they will be friends for a long time. Also I thought it was really cute how nervous and excited Polinues was both when presenting his Ideas at the bar as well as when he is giving the harness to mr. Bronwey
