i think your story is the best in aff.

i was crying for leyjen honestly u toture the poor boy since his childhood am tempted to whack u on ur head.

those bastard gwendir and his friend ..i just want u to give u some hours with them i am very versed and knowladgable in the art of toture specialy mid times.

how dare they touch him and how dare they beat my boy( i was there when he was born and cried at his mother death and every little and big thing u flang at him and decied i well be his adobted mother ,he need mothering especialy if certain someone continued maqing his life misrable(glare at willow with murderous gleam in my eyes))

i hope u continue writing about lej please .i love his charcter alot ,u can't make us fell in love with a charcter then swept him away (at temple)

i wish and hope that u write another chapter this chapter was short but rich in content , i want another long chap with rich content.

WAAH!!! I knew it was coming but it still hurts so much for such a mean trick to be played on Leyjen and Pol. I think Wrailan deserves the death penalty. How dare him try to control his son's life after he left him to die in the fire. How could he separate him from Leyjen when Leyjen is the one who loves him the most? I want revenge! But more than revenge I want Leyjen and Pol to get back together as soon as possible. Please? Now my heart will be broken for the next few days until I find out what happens next.

ch. 51: what is up with Leyjen's jealousy, he should know fullwell that Owain has no such intentions with Polinues. Owain's history is quite complex, it was a bit of a surprise to find out he grew up in a town full of vampyr, although that would explain how he knew how to help polinues when Leyjen drank too much from him in Kalpartown. But to know that his best childhood friend was a Vampyr is what surprised me the most. Owain probably knows more about the vampyr than most and could be a useful source of information if needed. i'm sure that Faith Úlmeroth is Amraeen because it felt like Owain hesitated before giving the description he gave it sort of comforts me to know that he is still watching over those two.
It's so sad to see how Leyjen has been slipping but i can't help but feel that something really bad is about to happen to those two.

long time reader of this but never got around to reviewing :(. anyways, I had started reading my sweet ilithil but was wonderfully surprised to see this expansion story. the end is near and I can't wait to see what happens next (also kinda scared too!)....I fear for polinues and leyjen--I've gotten quite attached to them :). anyways, are you planning to write all the way up to the fulfillment of the prophecy or are you nearing the end of the story?
can't believe i waited so long to review but this is really wonderfully written and the emotions you have between leyjen and polinues are one of the strongest i've ever seen. keep up the good work, this is a brilliant story :).

Happy New Years to you Darkling Willow! Leyjen is really out of it. I can't believe that he was crazy enough to confront Owain and to expose himself like that. He is in so much despair, yet I feel that the things that Polinues needs the most in life are with Leyjen. There is no love for him at home with his family, and his education at the Temples is more of a deception since he really is supposed to be a mage and not a cleric. I wonder how he will train as a mage if Leyjen is not with him. Also it seems like that person who sent Owain to watch over them must have been Amraeen and yet Leyjen is still not allowed to learn any info about him. I love Leyjen so much. I hope that there is some happiness waiting for him.

chapter 50: Leyjen's behaviour is starting to puzzle me. I wonder if it has anything to do with Wrailan.
I like how Brigale feels Polinues is his little brother, he will be there to protect him just as much as Leyjen will, I must say that the circumstances of how Polinues falls in the sea are a little comical which is an interesting combo, something comical and then that comical happening isn't so funny anymore. And yes, Polinues should never be in a boat with Brigale again.
It's really good to see how Polinues has found a dear friend in Owain, I hope Owain will restore Polinues' faith in humanity, because he is an excellent example of how good and kind a person can be.
What in the world is going on with Leyjen and his daring fate, this is starting to be too risky, with them fucking with the High Cleric in the same room. Poor Leyjen, he seems so very confused, and I think he still feels like he has already failed Polinues and his father miserably. But I think there is also a fear of something, something that hasn't happened yet but is close. I hope Leyjen and Polinues will be happy someday.

Chapter 49: WHOA Wrailan knew everything... this whole time, that was unexpected. But after reading I realized that Wrailan Marines is not as cold hearted as he has seemed throughout this story. Everything that Wrailan did to Polinues he did to save him, at least in Wrailan's eyes and I feel like I understand better why he did not try to save Polinues in the fire. when I first read the abbeyfire chapter it felt as though Wrailan did not care enough to risk his own life for his son but now it's revealed that he left him in the abbey out of love, that maybe this way Polinues wouldn't have to live all the pain and misery he will if the prophecy comes to pass.
Poor Leyjen, he's feeling like a failure. I'm sure he is very afraid of what his father will say once he finds out Polinues drank from him and moreover I can't help but wonder what it will do to Polinues to have drunk from Leyjen.
And Polinues remembers everything about the fire. I'm so happy that he forgave Leyjen for that moment of weakness and still sees him as his saviour, also I'm glad that they've made up

Poor Leyjen is suffering so much right now. He is feeling jealousy because of Owain and fear of losing Polinues at the same time. I think that his father gave him too much of a burden to bear in watching over Polinues especially when Pol's life is always in danger of one sort or another. Pol said that he feels that Leyjen is the only one who truly loves him. The same is true for Leyjen. There used to be Amraeen but now there is only Pol in his life. I wish I could send them both on a long vacation to the beach. I love the way that you have expanded the story. I really enjoyed the scene Leyjen and Pol doing it while the High Cleric took his tea. Hilarious. I hope to see the next chapter soon.

Chapter 48: Wow great chapter Darkling Willow. The way you described the fight and everything leading up to it was so picturesque. I was surprised at how easily Polinues was subdued by her magic but I just supposed it was because his powers aren't fully developed. I just love the showdown fight scenes and this showdown gives excellent credit to your writing abilities. It felt like watching everything happen.
Aanya is, or was, clearly very powerful but underestimated Leyjen. I had always thought that the Viscount clan knew a bit more about Leyjen's true identity. now we know how powerful Leyjen truly is. I hope Polinues will be okay... well he must be okay, otherwise there's no story... Right?

Chapter 47: Polinues is trying to act so careless and it feels like he is trying his best to hate the people that are so mean to him. But that just isn't him to hate humanity, he's too kind, even if hes has a good reason for hating them. But I think Leyjen is sort of overreacting because I feel like Polinues is just trying to say that he just wants to love and be with Leyjen, I hope Leyjen will see that Polinues doesn't trly mean what hesaid
and spooky stuff is happening. I can't wait to read what has happened to Polinues
