Poor Vermillion he is so famished and I don't think the blood he got was enough!! And now he has too fight again!!! Great chapter. I am glad that David survived his trip to get gas. I thought he would get eaten for sure. It is interesting to see Vermillion and his relationship with this human family. Keep up the good writing.

Very nice start to this story. Scarlet must be filled with guilt for killing his brother. I am going to read Bloody Memory as well.
