Omg, I only just got around to finishing what you've posted, and I am dying from suspense. Ha ha, you left quite the cliffhanger. I hope you can get around to finishing this, but I understand you may be busy.

Aw~ To think there's only going to be 4 or 5 more chapters left! It's sad that the story is coming to a close. And I now that when it does, it's going to be at least satisfying even if it's sad. Awesome on the updates and keeping up with the writing. I'm eagerly awaiting the rest of the story!

Happy as always to see this updated...I think I check every few days 'cause I'm that eager to read the next chapter! The suspense is terrible and I'm on pins and needles in the hopes the prince will be safely spirited away...!

Whoah, this was so beautifully written. I'm so glad I somehow stumbled onto this story!
I really loved Gerulf's pragmatism. He has hints of the "heroic idiot" type in him, but he always holds back because it probably makes more sense to, whether it's confronting the Meister or letting people believe that he's an idiot and untalented. His character has so much depth, from his stint in the military to his upbringing as the bastard son of a serial killer. He's angst fodder, but he doesn't angst, he just goes on with his life and carries his experiences with him. I really love reading about him.
Mihai's actually a lot flatter to me, though. Gerulf goes on about how he would be the perfect ruler and how everyone would love him, but we don't ever get to see him interact with people. For all we know, he could be as incredibly awkward with everyone else as he was with Gerulf! (I just chalk it up to Gerulf's infatuation with him knowing no bounds. ;D)
I love love love your peripheral characters. All of them. Even Armas. None of them are one-dimensional and it really fleshes out your world beautifully.
All in all, I can't wait to read more!
