AHH UPDATE! And oh, how I adore Gerulf! I love that this story is entirely in his POV. Not knowing exactly what the prince is thinking keeps things interesting. Can't wait for the next update <3

Just stopping in (you know, for your small, predatorially challenged ego) to say that I just read this story and I like it a lot. My heart goes out to Mihai. Looking forward to updates!

Hahaha. Gerulf is getting romantic with Prince Mihai. I love it when Gerulf persuades the prince to try something new. he is always so reluctant at first. I can't help thinking that Mihai would make such a good little slave. I feel sorry for Gerulf having to rein in his own pleasure during these encounters. I am glad that Gerulf got to talk to Vahan. It must be embarrassing for Vahan to find out that such a major event occurred and that he was never notified about it. Thanks for the great update dancing Grimm. I am looking forward to the next chapter.

it's amazing that this started out as seeming like a PWP, and it's now fleshed out into something with a very interesting plot! I love Gerulf as a narrator. Can't wait for more :)

A new chapter! Celebration time! Nothing could make me happier than to find a new chapter of The Blue Prince posted. I am not surprised that Prince Mihai's staff has a great deal of fondness for him. I am surprised he doesn't have a group of ladies fussing over him at every hour of the day. He is that charming. I think it is especially showing that his former staff members would choose to write to him. He is noble and humble enough to write back to them. I really can't see his bratty brothers doing something like that. Even though Mihai has the least amount of rank, he has the most loyal servants. I am glad that Gerulf visited him and showed that he is good company in the daylight too. I think Mihai definitely needs a friend. Gerulf makes a good protector too, and it turns Mihai on when he shows his strength. I love it. I can't wait for the next chapter. I imagine we will all get a shock when we find out who is trying to have Mihai killed.

I so very much adore this story... I go around speaking like the characters for about an hour after I read, until I remember that everyone around me kind of looks at me funny when I do it... hehe Hope to read more soon, this is just fabulous!

I especially loved the part where Gerulf sat with Mihai as he wrote his letters, that was a really fun bit. :D

DEar Grimster,

I am always disapointed when your present chapter is so quickly over, and I always want more! I am very found of this story and the main characters. Pretty please can't you write any faster? I especially feel bad for the lonely Prince. And I like the way the big solder Gerult, interacts with the servants and the royals both and he takes no shit off the bad ones. Please hurry I am most impatient to see how things turn out and the Blue Prince ends up not so blue! Gslinger

I enjoy your writing style very much. I only have one concern about this story, and normally I'd probably just overlook it because it wouldn't be such a big deal...except that it's repeated so often, and specifically stressed as something important when it is explained to Gerulf that it is imperative that he address the Prince by his proper title: typically, "Majesty" is the title reserved for the top-ranked member of the royal family; the head of the monarchy, such as the King/Queen or Emperor/Empress. A Prince, Princess, Duke, or Duchess would be referred to as "Highness." The two terms aren't normally interchangeable.
