Seriously, though; you're as awesome as I remember. "Once a Slave" had me rooted to my seat every new chapter back in the day, but the good news, even though all the chapters aren't all up? I'm finally actually /old/ enough to buy your published stuff now. Anyway, back to the real review; I really love the way you wove in the themes. Though it seems like an odd combination (fantasy and cowboys?) it flowed practically seemlessly with your fantasy style and just wove right in together like the Wild West was meant to have unicorns and lust faeries all along.

I really feel for Bryan, though. To lose everything just like that and be forced immediately afterward to give up whatever shreds of his dignity he had left. Then again, that does make for something damn sexy. The power of lust faeries in your works is almost scary though, but very, very well rendered. Anyway. Figured I'd stop in, leave a note, and say I'm glad to see you're still writing. :)

not bad. I like the original, different approach to the whole fairy cowboy theme and the story was short, concise and quick. But perhaps a little too quick, the smut seemed rushed and very generic, I think you could have done more with it. Overall, a good story!

Wow really interesting start, if anything like anything else you write it will be a great story. Hope to see something more from it in the future. Thanks for sharing, take care.

Woot. I was just wondering the other day if you were going to post a new story. Probably because whenever I think of nano I think of your wonderful story Broken Wings~ And its around nano time now. Anyway, Wild Iris is off to a great start. I definitely hope you decide to continue it. AND I JUST FOUND OUT MAGEBOUND IS FINALLY OUT! Oh my God. I'm definitely going to purchase it in a few days. Congratulations on Magebound getting published and its release. You deserve it!

I liked this story. xD And I'm pleased that you didn't make the fairy redeem himself, or whatever. It was hot, well-written, and enjoyable - a gem on AFF. I think this story does have a lot of potential to be expanded upon. I can certainly see a love/hate relationship in the making, there. And it would be interesting to explore why the fairy wants the main character so much.

Anyway, great story. Would definitely read if you did end up choosing to expand on it, and if not, oh well, it works as a great one-shot.

OMG YOU HAVE TO CONTINUE THIS!!!!! Seriously!! This is amazing!!! And the flaps of skin turning into ridges of extra pleasure.....BRILLIENT!!! God you have to go on and let us know is the Fae is as bad as the rancher believes or if he really is saving the unicorns and has a thing for this particualr rancher and that is why he "purposely had the taxes increased so the rancher couldn't pay so that he could buy him as a slave and become his mate.....mmmmm do fae mate for life?? Cuz that would be hot.
