OMG, did Adrian just SHOOT Kanau????? And what a shit Kaddar is. Kanau never really had closure with Kaddar, did he? And now he has to have Adrian rubbed in his face. Jesus, what a shit both Kaddar and Adrian are; they deserve one another.
On another note: Kanau was so sweet, to set up an apt. for Quax and help him get set up. He really seems to be warming up to Quax.
I look forward to the next chapter. In the meantime, Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas and Happy Kwanza, whichever one you celebrate!

So glad you updated! I was thinking about this story....
Sweet chapter, but I think if Kanau is queasy in hospitals (me too!) then being a dr. or nurse wouldn't be good. Maybe he should work in a pediatrician's office, or a preschool.
Anyway, good chapter, looking forward to the next, however long it takes you!

I love this story. Kanau and Quax seem to have so much in common. It is hard to imagine living at home and in fear every day. Kanau seems to be very caring and helpful when he is out in public. I hope he can lend Quax some support too. That poor boy does need a friend and some love. I wish I could climb into the story and give him a hug myself. I hope you get to write more soon. I am loving this story.

I can't rember if I've reviewed before, but been reading both this story and your friend's pretty much from the beginning. I'd like to at least mention that I hate your character names. This is my personal issue and maydiffer greatly from the opinions of others. I normally won't even read stories with weird character names. Anyway, I like your story quite a bit. I like where it's all headed and hope to see this bit between Quax and the other guy develop a bit more.

God this chapter was so sad! I feel so bad for Quax; no kid should feel like they're better off dead. That's so horrible. Thank God Kanau (did I spell it right this time?) was there for him.

Another great chapter and yay for two postings in one day! Kanau is being so sweet to Quax; hopefully it'll last b/c in your partners other story, the poem Kanua wrote Quax is HORRIBLE!!!! So nasty and mean, what the hell was he thinking?
Anyway, I'm glad he lightened up some! Looking forward to Quax getting out of the hospital. Oh, and yeah, Kanau is good w/kids, but maybe he'd rather work as a teacher, or in a daycare....
