Yay, another new chapter!
I love how you write the interactions between Mary and her family, and the elves, and Mary's friend. They all seem very true to life, especially Mary's mother embarrassing her in front of her boyfriend by whipping out the photo album. And you know that I am always up for a tasty lemon.
I wonder if Mary will try to contact Louis, to see if she can get the scoop on what MI7 is doing . . .

I liked this chapter. So many interesting developments. I am always a sucker for a nice mix of tenderness and romance between Val and Mary, and plot-driving action. Not to mention a little Welsh geography lesson!
I can't wait to read about Val learning to drive. But doesn't Mary need to see the healer? She seems to be getting worse . . .

Good to see you haven't forgotten this story and with more mystery too it. I wonder who the woman is.... What is Val keeping from Mary? The fact she is turning elf or something else perhaps??? Hmmm! Val driving a car should be very funny. LOL!

Wow, lots of action in this chapter, and I loved it all. (Well, except maybe the pursuit of Louis and the Scot.)
Your descriptions of the elves struggling with the human world made me laugh many times. Especially Darrah and his bad luck with shampoo. LOL.
As always, I am a sucker for the tenderness between Mary and Val ... him coming up behind her to sniff her hair ... her taking his hand to comfort him in the car and calling them partners ... his faux tackle that was really an excuse to get close to her. So sweet. *sighs happily*
