'plain brown paper bag of a man' - loved that statement, so simple and yet amazingly accurate. William seems like such a fascinating guy and yet we learned almost next to nothing about him. And then Silas who seems to have just the right amount of cheek and sass and despite probably knowing nothing of William's business still knows enough of dealing with people to navigate what is essentially a minefield. I thought that was a really great twist on the whole brothel idea, made it much more interesting than just another regular guy looking to buy sex, this definitely wasn't regular :) Wonderful story I loved reading it and the smut was good too ;)
