Ch 2 was great, thank you for such a quick update. Zachary is such a good brother, so protective. I love your carnival, so many intersting beings there. As far as your question . . . hmm, what would be the freakest thing at a sideshow? Well in real life I think the most interesting being I've seen are the gentlemen from South America, I believe, who are refered to as werewolves or lion men; they have a genetic code that makes their body hair grow all over their bodies so they are fully covered and to be silly there is always Juan Baptista dos Santos; google it and you'll understand. But this carnival you have is nothing like real life . . . to tell you the truth it tickled a memory from a story I read as a young girl, 'The Last Unicorn'. The carnival ran by a witch in the story was mainly fake animals that she used glamour spells to make humans be able to see the animals of myth because most humans are unable to see true magical creatures. But the witch was able to catch 2 true magic creatures. One a unicorn, the other a harpy. Your carnival reminds me of that witch from the story, only yours are 'real' that folks think are fake. Zachary almost sounds like a naga. Harpies are woman with bird wings and talons. Grifins lion mixed with a bird are interesting as well. Creatures that I'd love to see maybe even mixed with more human characterists; like your other members of the carnival, or more human like qualities would be things like: chupacabras, Jersey Devil, Mothman, Yowie, Pukwudgie, & Geryon are all very interesting. It is often said truth is stranger than fiction and many now extinct creatures are also very interesting my favorite is Dracorex hogwartsia; the dragon dinosaur. Hope this helps.

Wow. This story is really amazing. One of my favorite shows was the X-files so this is right up my alley. What an amazing collection of circus freaks. Right now Zachary is the freakiest one of all. The ability to issue forth snakes from your body tops everything else. I can't begin to think of anything freakier. I can see that Weston and Huxley are going to be very close. I can't wait to read more.
