Interesting the way you wrote it; at the beginning, I thought I was re-reading the last chapter! I was laughing when Paw was telling Rel about the different sizes and mentioning the wallbanger; Rel didn't even bat an eye! Does he even know what a wallbanger is?????? lol

Rel is stunted mentally. I mean I knew this before but I hadn't realized just how stunted.
True he is uncomfortable with contact. But it's interesting that he is adverse to his own body and it's pleasure. Some of this can be blamed on his childhood, clearly, but he is so completely shut off from that part of himself.
I wonder why he ever married. Being like he is it wasn't for physical pleasure, nor love, so why did he feel the need?

You get a very different perspective in Sequel. In partner Mik if the main character and he just doesn't see himself as the Sidhe and other people do. I find it interesting that the Sidhe view Mik as being so important.

Chapter 73. This caught my attention and I wanted to point it out.
"Ashun led the way down the hall and to the third door on the left, no door, just a curtain not long enough to cover the entire doorway. As soon as Rel stepped through the doorway, Mik’s eyes met his. It was like the man lit the entire room up with his presence. Not physically, but… power. There was some kind of power flowing off of him, wrapping around the Sidhe, dazzling the people with no one the wiser. And then Mik looked over Rel’s shoulder and to Muan."
Second sentence at the end of this paragraph. Did Rel mean Paw as "wrapping around the Sidhe" or did Rel mean Mik?
And I LOVE how Muan's only train of thought was "Mine, Mine, Mine and yes, will be Mine. Later."
Chapter 74. Aw~ Ashun is such the mother. I love how mature she is at times and childish and not sure at times and just so Ashun at times. And poor Rel not sure on what's gonna happen and I wonder how Muan will handle being all alone by himself. X3 I hope he doesn't start eating stuff he's not supposed to.

Let's not get Mik sick or dead; not much pressure there! lol
I guess I'd be pretty nervous if I were Rel, too. I mean, having Whisper and Mik the guy he's really attracted to....that would be nerve-wracking.
I'm sure they will both be gentle with Rel. Get him over his fears. Hopefully.

For Chapter 73 Muan reminds me of that certain time when a little kid seems to think that any and everything belongs to them and THEM alone…it’s cute, but kind of alarming at the same time…And have I ever mentioned how much I want to befriend a squirrel? It made me smile a lot when I read about Paw taking care of the little guy who fell….Random, I know….

I totally was praying that Mik and Paw would be his partners!
“Sex sickness” made me snicker big time..let’s definitely not get Mik sick or killed…I agree in full…
Sorry the review is so short, I don’t have much else to say aside from me being perhaps too over excited about Mik and Paw teaching Lel =D Now I’m off to read Partner….

Ok, I should have read Sequel before Partners. I was so lost in the last chapter of Partners! Now I understand! Hahahah
But, I am confused: why is Rel asking for a sex partner? I thought him and Muan were "partners". Wont Muan be jealous if Rel is with someone else? Did Rel mean people partner? No, he couldn't have, otherwise he wouldn't have gone to Paw. I'm so confused!!!! lol

Is Mik's power charisma? He's always gotten along well with the sihde. Could someone have 'made' him this way?
And Rel feel very out of place among people, but then he has always been out of place.
And why did he ask Paw for a sex partner? Is he trying to distance himself from emotional pain? Or is he trying to punish himself? Considering how he feels about male/male sex that seems like an option.
