I thought I reviewed last chapter but looking back, I guess I missed it. Sorry bout that. I'm not sure what to say at this point. I hate David. I hate Anna even. Could there be two more selfish people in this world? And they've been in contact these long, lonely thirteen years while Lucas has been drifting around lost and struggling to put David behind him? It's sickening. If David really cared so much about Lucas it seems like he'd have given up on his martyrdom by now and tried to work things out. And Anna.... Grrr. How could she just sit there and watch him suffer that way, the entire time knowing where David was and what he was doing, and never tell Lucas? I guess the two of them can't be happy unless Lucas is alone and miserable. I feel sorry for Lucas. I feel even more sorry for Deacon, who's about to get dragged into their mess. If Lucas has half a backbone, he'll cut all ties with Anna when he finds out what a deceptive little twat she's been. And she's hiding her lover from him too? I can see that because it's probably only fair, in her estimation, that she should be allowed to fall in love and have that connection with someone even though she holds the information that could reunite Lucas with his lost love but she holds it back. Wow! That sounded like I hate this story but I don't. I love it. My ranting is nothing more than a sure sign that I'm so into the characters that I can't contain my irritation at their actions. Looking forward to an update.

I'm really glad Johnny found Lucas' wallet. And what a smart kid Deacon is to find all that info online; I'm impressed! I just keep thinking back to the the last story. I can't believe Lucas was so damn impetuous and stubborn and walked out of David's life. And now he regrets it, thinks about him constantly; what kind of a life is that? He should do what Deacon did and try to find David. Altho now Deacon is gonna find him first. And WTF w/Anna? She's been in contact w/David for the past 13 yrs.??????? Behind Lucas' back; he's gonna blow a cow when he finds out; she better run fast.

Great chapter! I did notice a few (minor) tense errors, i.e., watching instead of watch (not those words in particular, just an example). No biggie. I can't wait until Deacon confronts Lucas; Lucas is gonna be sent on an emotional rollercoaster.

OMFG, Deacon is trying to find his biological parents and Lucas is gonna wind up talking to him on Sat. night. OMG, this is so weird, I got chills reading it! But I gotta tell you, I was in tears when I found out 13 years had passed. THIRTEEN YEARS since David and Lucas had seen each other, omg, why????? why????? God, I hope David comes back. I can't stand when people love each other and aren't together anymore. Lucas is miserable, and how about Anna, she never found anyone? I bet David's miserable; it's horrible. I'm so sad now.
