ohoh! I'm particularly excited to see how this turns out. Something that refreshes me: the catcher is not timid or lacking in personality. The pitcher doesn't seem too bastard-y as of yet, but to make poor Cole take anti-depressants? I say! I really want to know what will happen next. Thanks for this!

What a wicked sense of humor you have! I was laughing the whole story thru! From a community college named Harvard to throwing his boss out the window, to blaming his boss for global warming, women and prostitution, to chugging the wine bottle, the list goes on. You are hysterical! But I'm curious, why does Cole wear the glasses if he doesn't need them? I can't wait to read the next update; I'm still laughing! Great job!

Nit-picky detail-hunting aside, this looks like a really cute beginning to a thoroughly enjoyable story. Several parts made me smile, a handful made me giggle, and I love the premise. Russel seems like a delightfully bad guy, and so, bein' me, I've fallen in love with him.
