Yay, a new chapter! Hephaestus is so adorable and admirable, I just love him! I love the interaction between him and Kabeiro. I hope he and Hera are eventually able to have a better relationship. What she did was awful but she really does seem remorseful.

Kabeiro is just the gal for Hephaestus! I do find his shy demeanor very cute! Great chapter=)

I cried at the end of this. It was so sad, Hephaestus (did I spell it right?) never asked to be born as he was. It wasn't his fault! I hope you update this soon though. You're a marvelous storyteller.

This back story was absolutely awesome. I love the character of Hephaestus and I loved Aphrodite's story too. I have always had a fascination with the Olympian god myths but I never had the drive to actually learn about it. Of what I have learned about this particular subject I would have to say I learned it from either school or Xena: The warrior princess. I also love how both character are somewhat relateable even though they are gods. Best of all your writing is super fantastic. That was my favorite part. The way this chapter was written was very not boring. I can not wait for the next chapter. Thanks for being an awesome writer.

Very nice backstory. Is the Hephaestus side of the story going to be continued in Worthy of Love, or in Darkness becomes her? I haven't started reading Darkness as yet.
