I actually read this in one sitting, and found myself utterly absorbed. You have a wonderful writing style, and your characters are believable and intriguing. Wonderful!

Blake happy- only that he is thwarting his families desire for grandchildren. Don't think his family nor Thad have paid at all. He probably wants his carriers safe and that they don't have forced marriages

Your style is unique. You describe little and your use of codes are distracting, but I'm still able to picture this world in my head. You have some interesting ideas. I like that fact that your character, who is spiritual, questions himself. Does he lie and assimilate or risk all the values that define himself? I like this.

poor mikael, made me sad this chapter somehow T-T
the pity I felt when he tried to accomplish what CEC wanted. He was really afraid it hurt to see him.
