omg...and now you're using one of my favorite male names :) Kabi-I am intellectually in love with you, I hope you know haha I think this side story has me the most excited because you're touching upon religion (well, at least in the first two chapters) and seemingly answering some questions about how Carriers fit in to the religions of old :) LOVE IT!! and even if chapter 2 was the last time we even hear about the monastery, I can't wait to see where you take this.

poor Mikael- with the cec coming for him I'd run too. Special ha with the way society treats carriers he is in for a rough time.
