I don't believe I have yet reviewed for this story, though after chapter 1, I had become hooked on your writing, and am happy for the ff.net alerts that allow me to keep up with your story on here. You have woven a wonderful web of plot and character with Darkness, and I eagerly await each new development. Persephone and Hades is one of my favorite couples, and I was stunned to see a fic of this caliber written for it; I dove in with gusto and have not been disappointed. I would be one of the first to purchase a copy of this were I to find it published.

I love all of your fanfiction, so I decided to read your original works. I'm very impressed with this story. I definitely think it should be published. It's very enjoyable to read. It stays true enough to not ruin the story, but is also different enough to set it apart from similar stories. You are a very talented and created author. You've definitely got a fan for life here. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. :D

I absolutely love this story. I am studying Greek-Roman Mythology and am facinated by this particular couple. You write beautifully, and I cannot wait for the story to be finished.

Really excellent chapter, with so much that I enjoyed. The mother/daughter battle of wills, Persephone discovering her powers, Hades' loneliness, Persephone making her mother confront the consequence of her lashing out at the world, and Demeter's apparent acceptance at the end . . . all wonderful stuff, and very well written.

I've read quite a few fanfics and original stories over the years, but I have to say that yours has been the best I've read so far. I recently read the Hymn to Demeter and am still surprised by your consistency with the myth (with of course your highly entertaining additions). A beautifully done story and I'm looking forward to your future chapters and works.

I'm amazed at how original this story is, yet how well it manages to stay faithful to the myth, especially the part with Eleusis. Keep up the super work!

I'm loving the interaction and loosening/tightening tension between Persephone and her mother, but I am also curious as to how well Demeter will take the news that she'll be leaving on the winter solstice. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out. Keep up the good work <3
