Another fascinating chapter. Very sensitively handled, how a young woman would think through and deal with her first period, without a mother/sister/other woman to help. Poor Hades, sleeping alone for the next few days . . . I can't wait for the next chapter!

Oooh, nice twist! I hadn't even considered the consequences of Persephone's maturing body. I like the way you portrayed Tartarus; very tastefully done, for what could have easily been quite a crude subject. It further drives home the point that Hades is well organized and fair in all parts of his kingdom, even the most undesirable part. Once again, I love the easy interactions between Hades and Persephone. They're so cute and awesome together. Thank you for another great chapter! I can't wait for the next one...

I love your twists on the punishments meted out. There was one punishment I am slightly supprised you didn't add; there was a myth about a man who tried to kidnap Hera, and got lightning bolted by Zeus. He ended up getting tied to a wheel of fire, condemed to hang there spinning in circles. I can't remember his name off the top of my head though xP

And ooo, Persephonie is growing up in more ways than one =3 Still, she was wearing white right? I'd say that sucks for whoever gets to wash her clothes, but I don't think it'll be as much of a hassle as it is for mortals LOL

So I take it that was her first period then?? I am interested to see how this will play out....

I was very excited to see a new chapter posted, as this is my favorite WIP on AFF.net. The relationship between them is growing so sweetly. I am really enjoying how you are developing the characters. I can't wait to see how she comes to accept him as her husband. Please update soon!

Please, please, please write something nice and spicy abour Seph and Hadees in the hot tub. Loved the research you did about Hectate(spelled right?) and Triva. How interesting!

I just stumbled across this story quite by accident, but what a fortunate accident for me. I spent the last couple of hours reading through this. Greek mythology has always been a favorite of mine, especially the myth of Hades and Persephone. You have a marvelous way with words and an amazing talent to hook a reader from start to finish. I believe this is going to be my favorite re-telling of this myth. I love your characterizations, and the changes you have made (especially how he kidnapped her, it fit more with his character than the 'original' telling). I never actually thought to explore mythology 'fanfiction'. I have almost a library of mythology books at my disposal, but never thought to explore what others have written. This story has sparked my interest, though based upon your writing, other authors have a lot to live up to.

I cannot wait to read more!
