Good chapter, lots of interesting action and development. Your description of the cosmic tapestry at the end is particularly lovely and evocative.

Never have I been so utterly ENTHRALLED with a retelling of a story as I have in yours. Needless to say I have not taken my eyes off my screen since morning when I started on this by mere accident. To say that I cannot wait for the next chapters would be a gross understatement. Your way of weaving this version of Hades and Persephone's story is truly similar to the fates themselves and does not fail to draw you further into the story as if you were there, watching as it unfolded.

I eagerly await the future chapters.

I think your doing an excelent job with this novell.. And I have to say, that I'm sorry about my writing now-english aren't my motherlanguage..
But anyway. Sometimes there is a few grammar mistakes.. No articel for example. But who am I to say? Well, I can say, that I can guess what will happen in the story- the plot is little bit predictable, but you are doing this, based on the Greek mythology? So, I understand the plot.
Another thing.. Umm, I am just wondering about the relationship between Hades ja Persephone.. It is SOOO annoying =D The relationship is so.. Umm.. One sided? Im jumping up and down waiting, when will they truely have each other.

And now I feel myself like an idiot.. Only telling bad things.. =( But you kept me reading this story for two days (and one night)! So be proud of your self ( but not too much), and keep writing.

And sorry, I know there can be some error in my english.. Buut I really wanted to tell you, how I weel about this story ;D Try to know another mythologyes as well- Finlands maybe ;D

Another well written chapter. I like how you made the brief comments from each of the gods of the council illuminate their character.

You have made a nice balance between creating sympathy in your reader for Demeter's loss and frustation at being treated insensitively, and personifying the growing human cost of her vengeance.

It is amazing to me that no matter how well I know the myth, and therefore what is going to happen next, I am still on the edge of my seat, waiting for each new chapter from you!

It is very satisfying to see Demeter starting to get her revenge against the self-centered and insensitive Zeus, although it sucks to be a Greek villager caught in the middle!

Your writing and characterizations really bring to life the well-known myth. Keep up the good work.

Never get between a mama bear and it's cub! XD (heh, terribly tempted to yell 'Sucked in Zeus!', but that wouldn't be very mature of me ;)

I know Zeus is an ass and all, but I'm still not too sure that Demeter should have made the people suffer that much. Yes, they are all stupid for thinking that Zeus is the one giving life to everything around, but how much do these mortals really know about the gods? And Demeter doesn't exactly broadcast how much she blesses the mortals, unlike Zeus who certainly goes after the recognition and acknowledgment he "deserves." Oh, well. I can't wait to find out what's next. I guess Zeus will have to eventually bow to Demeter's demands like in the myth. I'm still curious if Kora will eventually eat the pomegranate seeds, since there is no way she will be simply tricked into eating them it seems.
