Awesome as always I do love this story and I do understand how Devin feels any one who has had a tragedy of any kind would or who has any kind of empathy. Besides I think I would have felt the same way as Devin have the baby then run as fast and as far as you can. Hopefully though alot of healing and misunderstandings can be cleared up in 3 months time so I hope that is what happens besides I'm a sucker for happy endings. I hate sad or mean ones they are to much like real life. Anyway Jaydon acted pretty normally for someone who's mate is and has been hurt physically and emotionally and let's hope he follows up on it. Loved Adam all daddy and the like very sweet and natural and Chris oh poor sweet Chris I hope that he can find the strength to help Devin I think he can because Chris is alot stronger that others and even he thinks he is and I think that even if the twins are still in his womb that they can help him with that as well. Sarah also acted very normal for the situation the whole chapter was so cool god I can't wait to find out what happens next. Thank you thank you thank you for the story and the update you are so sweet.

Entry of emergency
Montreal
An ambulance arrived quickly, light on. Two technician leave the car with a patient.
« Women, 25-35 years old. Seems to have lost his head. Murmur incestantly, rambling. »
The doctor in place take the lead and tell the two tech to go with the women to the room 1.
« Doctor, do you think...? »
« Don't assume thing nurse Nancy, we have to be sure of the fact before diagnosed. Place the women in the bed », tell Doctor Williams to nurce Nancy, « Madam, madam ,do you know were you are, can you tell ne your name? »
« ??&/$&$% »..d......D..........DA......J...Jay.....&$ »
In the same time the nurse take the vital signes. The signes and the thing that the women seems to want to tell are all the necessaires information to the Doctor and the Nurse.
« This in what we feared , start the treatment now, nurse »
The nurse hastened to open a computer in a corner of the room. She immediately begins to read the text that appears.
« Adam Chesterton looked down at the small baby is his arms and felt his heart shatter. Damn it! Why had it come to this? …........................ »
After a couple of minutes the women start to be calm.
« When the author of this storie's going to uptade, it's the third case this week », ask the Doctor to himself, « Madam, madam, can you tell me your name, do you know were you are? »
« ....h.m.m..........What?....where???.....Ho...I'm at the hospital?....My name?.....Gwen...Gwel....

Wow, you really had me wondering about Devin for a while. :-( The way things were going, I really thought that Devin would become the next Victor... but hopefully everything will get better from here? But then again... now that Victor's back in the soul lottery, maybe we'll be seeing him a lot sooner than expected since Devin's pregnant. That would really suck, if after all this trouble, Victor reincarnated as Jayden and Devin's child... O.o Great story I love it.

I just re-reread the last chappy.
I cry again.
I know. I repeat myself loll.
Something pop-up in my head this week when thinking at this story (when I was supposed to do cut some vegetables...and that I cut my finger instead...so it's your fault, yep, mouhahaha!)
There must a way (obligatory) to be able to save a corupt soul. (I don't talk about Devin here, since he is not totally corupt, but soul like Victor).
Because, if there 5000 mage (I know that they are more than that, but it's just an example). You have 500 corupt mage, so 500 mage that can't trully mate because of that. 5000-1000=4000. With each reincarnation, there is a risk that the soul corrupting. Over the years, there will be an accumulation of corupt soul. If you can save the soul, someday, in a distant futur, he could have no more pure soul.
It's why, I'm sure you can save bad meany soul. Not that I really want you to save Victor lolll but for Kiran. And the other like him.

And the little box with the stick say that I'm going to be big for the next 8 months. If the little angel does want to remain here for the complete time, not like his big brother who decided that he was ready to face the world at six month. Lolll

LOL, I was just going to leave it at that, but then decided maybe I shouldn't. OMG, such a suspenseful chapter! Aha! Jayden and his men to barge in on Devin and Ash in the midst of unmentionable activities, LOL! If I hadn't been so 'suspensisized' (wow, that's an actual word, apparently, LOL!)at the opening reconnaissance scenes, I seriously would have thought of the Mission: Impossible theme playing in the background, lol. I like Jayden's Phoenix-mist thing, that's so cool! And I liked the line, "Then it surrounded Jayden protectively, its massive head thrown back as if screaming its frustration to the gods," very powerful, I felt but then there were a lot of very powerful lines in this chapter, especially Ash's dying words (I especially liked the "Thank you" from him, that apparently minuscule amount of untainted soul that still dwelled within him leaking out) and Devin's tragic "goodbye" and Kiran's determination to stop him, Ooo, so dramatic! And OMG what is going to happen to Devin and Jayden and their son after they get through this??? Will they all be forever stigmatized? Ergh, needs happiness times naow!
Really, the "wowness" factor of this chapter was intense, hence my overly dramatic emoticon, lol, and I simply cannot wait for what happens next!

Well that chapter title was certainly appropriate. This was a really instense chapter. This is the part where I usually say poor whatever character you have tortured, but this time I can't pick just one. Eveyone, except Ashcroft, needs some serious soul healing and love. I am really glad that you didn't let Devin kill Ashcroft for spite, that would have really changed the whole story. Now at least there is hope things will get back to the way they were or at least close to it. I think Jayden has it in him to understand Devin's actions and forgive and forget.

Each time I read the new chappy, I cry. Talk about intense emotion. I think that it's my most prefer chappy, even if I used a full box of tissue.
The part with the rescue what intensed, I was not sure that everything's going to be ok.The shock of the reunion between Devin and Jayden. Wow. My heart make flip-flop. In the forest, all mental processes, thoughts, which undergoes Devin, before making his decision. As their really any hope? Devin's mental's devasted. Jayden faith in him's destroy.
How can you write something like this? I don't talk about the fact that you litteraly torture your personage in this chappy (bad week to purge?) but, with all the drama, and different emotion, did you cry too?
For my little boy and your child, we can give them to my sister for the week, she want to practice to know if she want one. Silly girl, you're never ready for the apocalypse loll. You can keep your pre-teen, I'm not ready to deal with this kind of emotional roller-coster. She/he's what 12-13?! Just remember me at this age, it's enough for now. Mouhaha!!
And I know why I'm a cry baby this week. I think. I just buy this morning, a little box, with inside, a stick that can turn blue or pink when some liquid is added. Cross my finger.

So I finally finished reading this one(took me a bit) and I've gotta say that I like it. I actually like Chris and Adam(especially Chris, he's funny) more than I like Jayden and Devin. Happens ocassionally, though - heck, I sometimes like MY side characters more than I like the main pairing in one of my stories. And that doesn't mean that I don't like Jayden and Devin, just not as much. Should be fun to see Chris being a parent to his babies, poor thing will be pulling his hair out after awhile. Poor Kiran; I really feel sorry for him. Hope he gets to meet his son. He deserves it for the hell that Victor put him through for all those years. Hope life gets better for Devin soon; he's gone through enough. Come on, happy ending! :P -DL

This chapter was so intense. I think my shoulders and arms are sore from all the tension and my heart ist still beating in highspeed. I loved it! walking on the edge is so exciting - as long as you don't fall i may say.
I am glad Devin's soul isn't irrevocable tainted - so i never believed you would do this. The way you described the change in his motive it was nearly altruistic in the end. I so hope in Jayden's character that he will do everything to mend Devin and their relationship. I see myself waiting all Sunday in front of my laptop for the next update again ;) - yeah and i normally have to wait until Monday morning or worse evening until i can read it in peace, but anyway you make the worst part of the weak bearable - also the knowlledge of a new chapter makes my day.

A rescue! Finally! Kind of anticlimactic like tends to happen. But it seems so long I was holding my breath and now I can finally let it all out. Maybe things will change for the better for Victor when he is reincarnated.
