You may have been gone a while,
as life can do that sort of thing,

I've been wondering. Why. For this story, there are chunks of the chapter whereby there is NO paragraph spacing at all.
Is your coding ok? or is that style deliberate (coz, it's rather... uh... annoying... when everything is lumped together like that)
especially the dialog parts.
That's my only concern really. Just was wondering if it's a coding problem, or if that was your intention.

Finally, it's been long since the last chapter. Poor those half sand, they're going to be mated but weren't told anything beforehand except from "how to not get hurt".
