I am so happy to see a new chapter for Beats. This is one of my all time favorite stories. Poor Lan is such a conflicted character. I really don't understand why he feels that he should not mate with Ero. Lan seems to want Ero and the god felt his desire for Ero and yet even after the god blessing their union, Lan refuses to have a true mating. I wonder how Ero will be able to convince Lan that he really loves him and that they should have a true mating? I loved all the smexy goodness. Lovely sex scenes. I hope we get some more in the next chapter. I am eager to see what happens next. I hope things are going well with your website. I stop by from time to time.

I really really hope that you update this soon. This is such a good story. I would like to see what happens between Lan and Ero.

That's... sad. Somehow Ero accepting Lan's choice makes it so terribly final. =(
And somehow neither of them seems to be happy with that choice. Or with the god's blessing.

I liked Lan, but now he is making me mad. He's a tease! And a mean mean man. I feel sorry for the poor hunter.

Lan is like a prickly little kitten. They are always the cutest but they are so complicated. Now he has broken Ero's heart. Even though Lan wants Ero, he is feeling pressured and harrassed by the sexual attention and scrutiny coming from everyone. Perhaps Ero needs to reevaluate his seduction methods and go into plan B - how to seduce the shy virginal type. Ero is a hunter after all and it takes different methods to catch different types of prey. I am loving the story and I can't wait to see what it will take to get Lan into bed

Wow. You have been updating like crazy. I guess that means Noirromance got another donation. Yay! Amazing chapter. Especially the leopard hunt. I felt sorry for the beautiful leopard. I felt sorry for Lan too with his extrems humility. He was not treated very well in his past village However he cannot always sacrifice his own happiness and well being to meet the approval of others. I can't wait to see who the God chose and also what happens with Lan. Thanks again for the update.
