Chapter 19. I wanna murder Redaku. Put him through the most gruesome pain and humiliation before his slow untimely death. Haven't I said this before? You definitely gave it good and left me brimming with anticipation that's going to be hard for me to get rid of before I get to work. Not happy that the chapter ended but it was so satisfying. If I was Noberu, I would've socked Redaku one before I left. I can't wait to see what end(s) Redaku will be in when this is all over. If Shinko and Seshimora ever find out about Redaku's meddling with other countries I wonder what they'll do to the old bastard. Wohoo~ I can't wait for your next update!

omg! I love this! I will admit I am scared of who you are going to place him with. I will admit I am all for Noberu saying to hell with them all and taking Kato away where he is safe. At this point I can't decide who else I can see him with who wouldn't end up making his life a nightmare of politics. Please don't do that to him; he has had so much taken away already.

OMG, thank God they found Kato! I was confused at the beginning of the chapter; I didn't realize the chapter was in Kato's POV from the last chapter!


Hopefully Kato's unhurt and now he's safe w/Neberu (did I get it right this time? lol).

It's so bittersweet to read this story. I know that there will be sad moments in each chapter but I can't help but read on! It's just captivating and I really hope Kato gets a happy ending. In the beginning I sort of wanted him to be with Shinko, but it seems that he actually doesn't give a damn about Kato. In this chapter, especially the end, Noberu's care of Kato is so genuine, so real and it was just touching to read him giving Kato a hug and never letting go. The last line? Pure genius. I think this chapter is one of my favourites!

Laiko, you've went and done it. CLIFFHANGER!!! And a dang big one at that. You've got my nerves all wired up as soon as the chapter began and I get to the end, and all I a could think of is: well, screw you too! I really can't wait for the next chapter and I'll nag at you until you update.

Redaku has always rubbed me the wrong way since I've met him and so far all I really want to do to that bastard is LAKDSJO;E'WAEIWJA;OISEAOTIEHAOI;SDKJA. -brushes dirt off sleeves- I officially hate him. Over and over again that old man fcks up in ALL the decisions he make and if I was Noberu, I'd have already murder the stupid bastard. All in the name of loving Kato like a son, my arse. If I was you, Laiko, I'd keep making Redaku screw up so I can off him somewhere in story.

My vote for Zombie Apocalypse fics casue I haven't seen a good zombie-man slash action for two years;)))

I just found this fic and I am so happy I did. I really love the world you have created with its harsh traditions. You make it easy for the reader to empathize with the characters, they are all three-dimensional and I enjoy reading about them. I hope Kato is able to change the Ascension tradition with his own kids, maybe he can make them diplomatically compromise with the issue, since his kids will be uniting the two planets. I'm looking forward to seeing what you will write next, I hope this story ends happily, but right now I can't see how it will for any of its characters :(

As far as your other fics, sorry, this is the only fic that's out of the norm that I'll read! Sorry, demons and vampires and zombies aren't my thing. Altho I really love your writing....

Anyway, on to Kato! Was he kidnapped? No one suspects that it was Nubero he was with? He's gotta talk to Shinko eventually. After all, isn't he supposed to marry Shinko or Sheishimora?
