My last review disappeared.
Was saying I'm trying to like Katan - but it's not fair to expect poor Jason to follow rules no one has told him about!
Like the last sentence. Must be an awful time when a freeman realizes he has no other alternatives...

I really like your fic. It's very good. I have to say that the slave didn't kwon his place, but is good to see how is mannage the discipline.

At first i did not want to read more, because of the poor boy in chapter one, that was so cruel...:(
But now i like it a lot, especially mark, he is so cute.Maybe someone can heal his scars?
And it would be great, if he meets someone he could fall in love with...:)
I really hope they find jasons sister...uninjured...
I`m also excited about jasons training, cannot wait to read more!

I love slave and master stories but I was turned off by the shooting of the child at the beginning. It didn't make sense to me to say Crandall was embarassed by the crying so he pulled out a gun and shot the boy right in front of everyone. That would only serve to call more attention to himself. Also it would not be a good idea to piss off your mother's nurse

Chapter 7 - some amazing Revelations, indeed.
I like Mark, now. (But you might want to consider re-writing his introduction, so he doesn't appear so frightened of Katan.)
I was particularly struck by Katan's thoughts about Jason - not to see him as an enemy or a friend - just a master. (Think I may steal that for a future story of my own...)
