Did you come up with all of these twisted devices on your own or are they Kira's? The hood?

Chpt. 4 Wow. I at first was going to compliment you on the misdirection of the shooting of the child, allowing Jason to hate Katan but I was almost forgot to as you once more detail the harshness of your world.
Jason is a tricky little devil isn't he? Is there a reason that vassel names are unique and non-vassels are more common? Just out of curiousity, have you every heard of the board game "Settlers of Catan"? It's kind of addictive. It's a pet peeve of mine when other people come up with names I've created, even if they're a letter or two off. Oh well, good job in any case.

Ironic name, Euphoria? Is their a reason Jason is having these moments of servility and humility towards Katan? Is it just attraction or something more?

i love the care and detail of the narration

I like this story, however there is something about the voice that makes it sound like Jason is a 17 year old kid from America, completely raised in American culture. I may be incorrect in thinking this is a fantasy set in a fictitious planet - it has been a while since I read the first few chapters. I'm not sure this is a criticism, just an emotional reaction I get from reading this story you might want to be aware of. Keep it up. Best of luck with you writing career. :-)

I love this story - I usually do enjoy Master/slave stories (does that say something bad about me...?) But it's hard to find good ones that actually have a plot. I'm so interested to see what Jason's memory is hiding!
