Chapter 7 was just as good as the rest of 'em. You handled Muffin's feelings and reactions very well in this chapter. We get to see more of Muffin's core character--the lost kid who's only seeking love and companionship under the hardened shield he's built up around himself. (I really can't wait to find out more about his history)

I noticed something, though:
You have all these muffins in your story, yet I don't think anyone's actually eaten one...
Wait, I think Asher might have had one in an earlier chapter, but he's the only one.
Besides that, the muffins kind of pop up, then are never heard from again...

I just wanted to thank you so much for this story! It's quickly becoming an addiction. I check for new chapters about twice a day. Today I'm sick and seeing the new chapter up made me feel much better immediately! I especially want to compliment you on the gradual development of Muffin's physical characteristics. They're not just rattled off in one awkward and overly descriptive paragraph, which less sophisticated authors seem to enjoy doing. Of course your whole plot is fabulous too. Can't wait to see how Asher finds his way back to controlling Muffin's life. He doesn't seem like someone who would give up authority over one slip. <3 <3 Please keep up the excellent writing!

I really like Muffin's stunned side. He had a lot to deal with, but he went with the flow until Asher finally left him alone. When it all caught up with him (when Alrick let him leave) he became stunned enough to stop talking, and it continued to shock him when he got to Anna's and was unrecognized. As he tries to sort everything out in his head and make sense of the change of events I saw the sweet side of him again-- the side that wants to be loved but is afraid to admit it. Muffin wants to cling to the things and people that he likes, but his world has just been doubled with the introduction of Asher and it's almost too much social contact to take

I was wondering about the Dog on Fourth street; Porto is a good name for a dog, and Muffin's expression of adoration can finally be seen! Although it's not emotionally safe for him to run to a human for comfort, he has no shame or qualms about cuddling up to a four legged beast at night. I want to know more about his attachment issues; there's a real story there! Also, what's up with Zack and Anna? I feel for them because Muffin feels for them, and if he cares enough to stay around them even though he shuns all others then they must be pretty important. Oh, and Jason? Will he return eventually? I want to meet the prick.

I love how Asher is so sexually frustrated. All that...what's it called? UST. He can't stand those pouty lips, and instead he has to run to whores and sluts to take out all his sexual frustration. Liza sounds like a real money hungry bitch, but I love drama and she amuses me. I tend to like being amused >D as you would know!

You're amazing at foreshadowing. From chapter one you mentioned Zack's shaving habits, and the can of dog food Muffin looks for when Alrick and Vinnie first find him was on my mind for a while. I wonder if there's any other hidden messages? Other than the ones pointing to Muffin's past, which I am dying to find out more of. The only thing I dislike is my constant cravings for Muffins, which I cannot get. Seriously, I checked; there are absolutely no muffins here. Gorramit, who DOESN'T have muffins?

This is one of the best stories I have ever read on this site. I simply adore little Muffin and want to kidnap him for myself. Asher is quite an intersting character and I love how he torments poor Muffin. Looking forward to future lemon between them. I am adding your story to my recommended reading list.
