Muffin's research is hilarious! He's so in to this whole figure-out-about-Asher thing, and his seriousness is incredibly endearing and personal. I like how you keep showing how smart he is, and yet he doesn't think of himself as intelligent. He really is, though! Maybe a little naive about the ways of the world, but definitely a bright kid. Like Aztecs and cigarettes? And all those random facts he knows.
The imagery of the rainy day was awesome, and I loved how he was yelled at so many times by the librarian. They're evil, evil things! More evil, though, was Michael. That was so sad when Muffin got his ass kicked... but at the same time you again showed how brave he really is! Good thing Asher was there to save the day! Ah, a Knight in blue armor.
I adore Muffin's point of view. It's real, and he doesn't get all of the details. At the same time, he really works through his thought process, so we get to see what he discovers about Asher and all. Speaking of Ash... wow! I love Muffin's question about men having sex, especially how he keeps saying stuff to rile Asher up. The discourse between them is always hilarious- I couldn't stop laughing halfway through it. Ah, little naive Muffin, I can't wait for the day Asher takes you ruthlessly from behind.
Keep up the great work... and all that jazz.. Damn, I'll have to whip up another chapter to see what Muffin and Asher to next >D -laughs maniacally-

Yes! Totally sweet chapter! I am such a sucker for injured lovers! and they were so sweet! Oh, poor Muffin doesn't know how to have sex *blush* well, i think it is progressing loverly. Keep it up!

I'm really curious how old Muffin is, how he came to be homeless, etc
I actually believe that all of this will get more exciting, romantic and funny.

You completely right, the whole time I thought: what? he hates water - cold water!?! cat, cat, cat....
maybe not really a big grown cat but a kitten ;)
the beating scene: I think Muffin should be a bit more street smart after all this time, some fighting moves or he should have fled...
and I don´t like Michael (even before that chapter he was not on my love list ;) and our little hero must tell Asher the truth, I´m pretty sure it will come out! (I hope so! Michael deserves a beating!)

I did like the chapter, but I wonder really, why didn't he tell Asher that it was Michael, I mean seriously Asher's bipolar enough to punish his friend for that...or so it seems to me. I like that he got surprised by Muffin's comment lol that was funny. :)

And I love how cute miffin is btw whats your favorite type of muffin? (mine is banana and white chocolate with pecans *I like to experiment*<3)
I really liek the dialoge btw the 2. I wish there was more of it XD not that I don't love your chapters.
oh and is the italian dude gona show up he is funny and entertaing. I see him as someone who would be an ally to muffin although they had a rough start.

I have seen the muffin page for a while, but i've been avoiding sugar so I kept skipping over your ovenly goodness for weekness. I decided to take the plunge this morning and just ripped through all those little heavenly chapters. I was actually pissed I had to stop reading and go to work. Can't look at AFF at work so I had to wait till I got home and now, here I am waiting for the next batch to come out of of the muse-o-matic 3000.
I will admit that I got weepy when porto got run over. Holy crapola. I think this was a little heavier than I thought it would be cause I have lost a couple of beloved pets one right after the other and my surviving puppy was at my feet chewing out the heel of my sock.
Question: Is Asher a counter terrorist black ops kind of guy? Sort of a a bi-polar batman? Just asking.
Keep on writing. Enjoying it like a 20 box of assorted timbits.

Hm. This is not an actual review of the chapter... but... I had a chocolate muffin today and it made me think about this story. hehe... can't wait for the next update!

That was one evil chapter-title! *grin* Weeeeelll... there were a FEW vitamins in the story, but not enough for a daily dosage... think of the health of your poor readers and put some more in there! We'll get scurvy! ;o) Nah, honestly, I'm loving the pace and everything, so I'm not complaining... aaaahhh... Muffin doing research... poor boy is getting sucked in... (why couldn't I write that without getting some very dirty images in my head? I'm just sick...)I long for the next chapter!
