OMIGOD I loved the angst!
I can't believe all this, holy shit!
sooo much information, yet I'm thinking ...is it true?
But whatever! I don't care! I want muffin to hate Asher! I want him to hate him to his very core! because that would be soo hot! :3
I mean, I love drama and the whole hate part! I love it when Muffin acts so stoic!
I only want him to act that way to Asher though, So I'm really hoping he will act normal towards the others again.
Anyways I loved the part where he wanted to die! waaaw it was written so beautiful, this chapter! was so worth the wait!
I had read this a long time ago (when you had updated) but then I got sick so I wasn't in the mood for a review.
The last sentence, that really was a great end-sentence for the chapter!
I thank you very much and I have become addicted...again!XD
anyway I'm off! I'm gonna re-read this story because this story ownsXD and I love it sososososo much!

I'm thinking that Muffin will actually assist the police now, if that's what he means by betrayal. But gosh, I really can't understand Asher. Was that nameless guy right? Did he just want to use Muffin as a scape-goat? D: I hope not; that would be terrible. But it's true, he's hurt Muffin so much just by associating with him. Then again, they say the ones you love the most are the ones you hurt the most. So is it love? Great chapter, though it's instilled a sense of foreboding in me. :P I don't want anyone to die....

P.S. I love Vincenzo, seriously. XD

Read it a couple of times now. It really is so good, probably one of my favourite chapters. I really love Muffin's relationship with Vincenzo and am always desperate to know what Vincenzo thinks of him, and I love Alrick's fierce protectiveness and the way you're very slowly drawing out details and answers about the plot and Muffin's background instead of throwing it at us all in one. I do hope it won't be another yearly wait (ok, a slight exageration)for the next chapter but at least you know we're sitting in tense anticipation for it. O.o what does it all mean?!?! My head is going to explode. Ugh it just did... Only an update can put my head back together!! Great chapter!

I read all the chapters in just one day =P. Can't tell you how good it is, but trust me, it is really good. While I was reading it I felt the need to write, which I hadn't felt in...well in years. I can't wait to see what happens. I liked the relationship between Asher and Muffin, but with the last chapter I'm not so sure anymore, after all, he hurt him a lot... Anyway, I hope you update soon, or at least don't forget this story =D.

Ok, Masha, I'm back. Sorry about that. Boy, selfish, my b/f actually said the sound of the typing was keeping him up! lol Anyway, back to this awesome story! I forgot where I left off, oh yeah, confusion about betrayal. Why would Muffin betray all three? I understand that HE feels betrayed. Anyone would. He learned to sort of trust these guys, especially Alrick, then to feel as if they would sell him out at anytime, that hurts. Although, I don't believe that nameless guy; I don't think Asher knew Muffin was going to be in that kind of danger. I don't want to believe he would knowingly put Muffin in the line of fire. I honestly believe he cares for Muffin; he's shown it in his own way, time and time again. And I know the other two, Vincenzo and Alrick care for Muffin, especially Alrick.

I am confused about the cell phone; oh yeah, now I remembered what I said earlier; about maybe the cell phone has a comical movie or something for when Muffin feels all alone...

I do agree w/your readers comments about Muffin being immature and a smart ass, etc. But...taking into consideration his tragic past, how he lost his family, being the sole survivor, it takes a toll on you. Especially a young boy like Muffin was. Growing up on the streets can end tragically; he should thank God for Anna and Zack. Although he is 19, right, he's 19? His maturity level is not that of a 19 yr. old. I think he is suffering from PTSD from being in that situation w/Michael and the nameless guy. I think it totally messed him up and it could take awhile before he starts acting "normal", what's normal for Muffin anyway.

As usual, I cannot wait for the next chapter! As I said earlier, I put off reading this for days b/c I knew the reading would go fast and then I'd be left w/emptiness!

Oh, and before I forget, your metaphors? Similies? I get them mixed up; I know similies are the same, but anyway.....your wording w/Muffin's thoughts about Asher being a nightmare and the sun and the coffin and nails; they were beautiful! Very poetic! OMG, I love your writing so much!!!!! I know you mentioned you're an artist, as in drawing, buy seriously Masha, you could publish this story. It is that good. You should think about it; a few authors on here are published and your writing is phenomenal.

Oh, and one more thing (yeah, just like Columbo. I know, you're all saying, Columbo, who's Columbo???? It was a tv show way back in the dinosaur era and the detective, Columbo, always said to the perp "Oh, and one more thing....and then he would arrest him) Anyway....you mentioned in one of your comments to a reader about other author's recommending your story; I've seen MANY, MANY, MANY suthors on here listing "Muffin" as a must read. In fact, I think I started reading it b/c of that reason.

Anyway, keep up the fantastic job and I'll be waiting w/bated breath to see what Muffin's betrayal plans are.....

these two phrases....
made me come to the conclusion that...
Muffin is 18 years old.

you describe Muffin so well! his cacaphony myraid of messed up thoughts and emotions...
It made me feel very "Whoaaa that's a really cool way of phrasing it" when I read various paragraphs of this chapter.

and other than that... WHAT IS GOING ON MAN!?
just what exactly is muffin's role in this... He keeps getting stuck in all sort of mess. Asher or his goonies keep rescuing him. But why?!
Why does Asher keep wanting to keep him alive?! guilt that he got an innocent caught in his mess? or some ulterior motive? Does muffin's past have something to do with this?
Muffin's family's death have something to do with Asher?
Does Asher hold a soft spot for Muffin? I'll andswer that one myself yea, YES. That punk of a head honcho definately has SOME SORTA non-ordinary feelings for muffin.

WHAT IS MUFFINS REAL NAME god-damnit. thou, THANK YOU for the explanation on why he's called MUFFIN.

and after we're all done here. I really hope that all the many million questions I've been accumulating so far would FINALLY be answered... It's been too long!!!!
But then again, I guess thats how you keep us, your readers, reading on. Because we have so many questions we want answered.... God damnit you're good. Dang Good! I so can't hate you for doing this (clifhangers and unanswered questions) coz you're so good!

Great chapter. I guess the explanation of Asher's motivations makes sense, but Muffin is being a little gullible believing that guy hook line and sinker. I mean it didn't work out so well when he gave him the gun now did it? But I do like the ~evil~ Asher idea.

So is Vincenzo restraining himself because Muffin belongs to his boss? That's how it seems (with the asking him to put a shirt back on, the slap and forced smile, etc...). If so, I hope Muffin's betrayal plan involves getting in Vinny's pants! j/k, although he really should.

Ok, first I want to say that I saw that Muffin was updated during the week, but I purposely didn't read it until now. I never had time until tonight to give my full attention to it. And plus, I wanted to wait b/c it gave me something to look forward to! After all, my favorite story was updated! And thank you for your sweet comments in your a/n! I was so glad this was updated! In fact, last week I was reading an update from your beta, and she mentioned that Muffin was late b/c of her and I commented to her to hurry up and get it done! I needed my Muffin fix! (something to that effect)

Anyway....on w/the chapter: I am confused. Why would Asher give Muffin a cell phone for his darkest hour? Should Muffin turn it on and see if there's like a movie on there? Like to cheer him up? I mean, it doesn't make sense. Oi, I have to go; my typing is keeping the boss man awake! I'll write more tomorrow!
