I LOVE your story! It seems that cold & powerful businessmen really get to me... Though last few chapters have been heartbreaking exactly because of that. I hope far too much more than I intelligently believe that Asher turns out to be the good guy after all. >.<

Please, please, please don't change the pairing and make Muffin fall in love with Vincenzo or change him bitter and cold! I want to see Asher and Muffin happily together (after all the necessary angst and drama, of course)... Even if Muffin is such an ungrateful brat at times that I feel like screaming. (Seriously, the way he treated the maid? A person that unkind and impolite to someone who hasn't done anything but good to them makes me lose my faith in humanity...)

Anyway, I enjoy your writing style and well-placed humour (all the Muffin's little comments crack me up) and I'm waiting more eagerly than I ever remember having done for the next chapter! I just want a proof that Asher truly cares for Muffin, even if it's in some weird, completely creepy überobsessive way... Please, give me that confirmation! Don't crush my innocent dreams. :D

This piece was recommended on a Livejournal group. I have spent the last two days immersed in this world you've created and I am so, so happy this was recced to me. The story is amazing, all of the characters are believable and lovable, and I just find this to be an overall amazing piece of writing. A lot of really long, internet published pieces tend to drag on or become too contrived, but I was literally hanging off every word. I've never loved a character like I love Muffin! What a loud, selfish, hilarious brat! I love Asher, too, but I'm hoping he's not as evil as Michael's friend says he is. I think maybe there's some truth in both sides of the story. But honestly even though I was AsherxMuffin from the very beginning ( I love control kinks) I am very interested in the potential of MarioxGoomba, haha. Perhaps a love triangle will form? That would be very sexy.

Well, enough rambling. I just wanted to let you know that you've created an amazing world with this story. I truly feel like I know these characters, that they're three dimensional and I love them all dearly and can't wait to see how things progress. As a fanfiction and fiction writer I understand the drag of getting those last few chapters out. The drive to write it all out with a maddening pace dwindles with time but I am very anxious :) I heard that this story is still active, though, so I will remain hopeful. Thank you so much for sharing this story with us all.

Now I feel mildly depressed. Poor Muffin, he might have conflicting feelings for Asher but he never would have believed the man chose his as a sacrificial lamb. To add to the betrayal you also have the fact that Asher is Muffin's first crush. (however horrible a first crush it is) There's a part of me that wants Muffin to find his true love and a part that actually wants it to work out with Asher.

Just wanted you to know that I'm still here...reading.....waiting...patiently.

this is one of the verryyy few stories on here that has merit.. you should be really proud of yourself for writing what you did...unfortunately good stories are hard to come by but i find myself checking back here more often than not for updates.. keep up the good work
