Chapter 26 The End
Girl! Are you crazy?! Don't you know that Muffin and Asher and Vincenzo (and Alrick)
were supposed to end up happily-ever-after?!!! HA!
Adopting puppies, kittens and eventually little Ashers, Muffins and Vincenzo's (and Alrick's)!!!! HA!
Okay!!! Kidding aside!!! Very much enjoyed this wild journey!!!!
Thank you for working so hard to entertain us (even when it may have felt like more of a burden!).
I think I'll go re-read this story now!!!!!!
Thank you!!!!

Warning: this might get a little long.
For the love of everything that is...that is...that JUST is, please, please do a follow up sequel! I don't care how angst-y it ends up being. The story just can't end this way!
...Sorry if I'm being a bit pushy. I'm having a hard time accepting this as the end. I really hope that later you find the inspiration to do a sequel.
"let's just pretend they all live happily ever after in their separate lives."
I'm afraid I can't do that. You’ve created such great characters that I’ve come to love (well, as much as one can love fictional people) them all so much. I don't want them to have separate lives away from each other. Having the story end as it does has left my mind racing. You’ve made me care about what happens to them all.
Where will Muffin/Matthew end up? What's happening with Asher? Is he still going to prison? Even if he's not, is his business/reputation completely ruined? And what of Alrick, he was arrested too? The police might not have enough to pin down Asher, but what about his men? Also, was Vincenzo arrested, or did he manage to get away? If so, will he go looking for Muffin? And why the heck does that make me recall what Vincenzo suggested to Muffin back in chapter 24?!
“Yeah, that’s it. You’ll be screaming my name by the time I’m done with you...”
Did I ever tell you just how extremely hot that scene was? I like the whole Muffin/Asher thing, but I really would not have minded it if he and Vincenzo had had a one night stand together.
Sorry for all the questions and topic jumping. Like I said, my mind is racing. Out of all the ways I thought the story was going to end I truly didn't see this one coming. I'm not saying it's a bad ending, just too open-ended for my personal tastes. I'll be sending silent prayers to the writing muses in the hopes that they sprinkle you with the inspiration to continue with Muffin's (Asher‘s, Vincenzo‘s, Alrick‘s) tale.
As a side note, you really shouldn't be so hard on yourself about your writing. You have a lot of talent. Even the chapters you say were done in a rush are still so much better than the average story found on this site. I find it kind of sad that such a good author seems to have so little confidence. You really are good, and looking through the hundreds of reviews you have I know I'm not the only one who thinks so. (^_~) Also, I greatly enjoy your "drama-angst," as you put it.
All I have left to say is thank you for sharing such a wonderful story and I hope to read more from you in the future. Until then, bye. (^_^)
P.S.
Thanks for not killing any of them (Muffin, Asher, Vincenzo, or Alrick) off. I seriously thought one of them--if not all of them--was going to die. You could have killed off as many side characters as you wanted, but touch one of those four and I probably would have actually cried (and I'm not normally the kind to get teary-eyed over a story). Again, thank you. Hopefully I'll get to see them all again in a different story. *fingers crossed*

Loved it even with all its angst maybe because of all the angst. I do appreciate your writing style. You took Muffin from a truly introverted zombesque homeless kid to someone who actually opened up enough to care for someone. Forget the fact that he fell for a kingpin it was done in degrees and with a believable inner dialog. I appreciate the time you took the craft this story and I will admit that I hunted for updates and even groaned when there were big lags between them. I know that many readers probably wanted a hearts and candy ending but the one your presented *feels* right. I can't see Ash opening up his arms and gladly taking Muffin back into his bosom after this betrayal. At least Matthew seems to be on the right road to healing. Kudos for the adventure and I look forward to more stories from you in the future

If you do have time over winter break, I must root shamelessly for an angst driven sequel since I was rooting for Vincenzo and feel like he got the short end of the stick :). At any rate, I fell in love with this story from chapter 1 and hate to see it end. I am, however, happy that you saw it through to the end. Thank you very much for the amazing story

Yeah, No More Dead Dogs. Pleae. Ha, that's the name of a book.
Ok, I cannot believe this is the end!!!!! I wanted them to be together!!!!!! It would be hella awesome if you did do a sequel that would have Asher (who, thankfully is now free, but maybe broke) find Muffin, oops, Matthew. I mean, wouldn't Vincenzo's helpers tell him where Muffin/Matthew is? I would love to read about a NICE reunion. After all, they did break each other's hearts, in their own way. I want them to be together.
Well, this was an amazing story. You are such a talented, gifted writer, don't belittle yourself by saying this is not publisher-worthy. It most certainly is. This story had suspense, romance, humor up the wazoo, it made me laugh, cry and everything in between. I looked forward to seeing an update whenever possible. I looked for an update everyday! lol
I look forward to reading more from you. Don't stop writing; don't let your talent go to waste. You're incredible Mahsa! :)
I will certainly miss Muffin and Asher and Alrick, even Vincenzo. I absolutely LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this story!!! :):) and am so sad that it's over. :(:(

I completely understand how hard it is to find time to write, but if it's at all possible I really think you should. I've followed the story religiously and got super excited for any updates...but the ending is unsatisfying. He's leaving on his own, potentially becoming homeless again, nothing's resolved with Asher who seems to want to kill him, Asher's business is tanking and is he going to jail or not? Is there even a case anymore without Muffin? He's influential can't he spin the media in his favour? It just seems like there's so much left to say. I'd be really interested in reading a sequel about Matt's story.
