I just discovered your story today and I didn't stop once until I finished all the way up until the latest chapter. At first I didn't think I'd like it much since I'm the kind that loves those drama ridden yet still utterly sappy romance stories but I've completely fallen in love with the characters.

Secretly, I'm rooting for Pilot/Russel just because I'm weak like that and want everyone to find someone in the end. *proudly flies the fail flag* I can't wait until the next update!

An update at last! Happiest moment of my life right now. To be honest, it's been so long now that I wish I'd re-read the whole story before reading chaper 25 but I've been so desperate to know what would happen...I never thought Phoenix would admit to having feelings for Jacob and I experience an almost-cringe every time Jacob announces his love for Phoenix but I'm glad it all happened.

Only objection I have, but it's understandable considering how long you left this chapter for whatever reason, is that so much time was skipped. I was expecting there to be at least another chapter before Jacob turned eighteen...maybe a bit more on the specifics of him moving in with Russel, but in a way I'm glad you skipped ahead because we've all been waiting for Felicity to find out for ages. I like that Phoenix was clearly upset that she found out...upset for her, I mean, and not just because his 'american dream' (as Pilot puts it) is ruined. I wonder very much what you mean when you hinted that Juanita will return and I would like to see some smexy JacobxPilot scenes and I wonder how Phoenix and Jacob will progress from here.

Lastly...looking at the other reviews, I have to say I actually really OBJECT to the idea of Pilot and Russel together. If that is the plan, then I shall hold my tongue and look solely to the PhoenixJacob aspect of the story, but I really don't like the idea. One, because so many authors pair up characters at the end of their story so that mostly everyone gets a happy ending, and it ruines the realistic-ness of the story... and two because I feel betrayed on Jacob's behalf..like somehow they should only like him (despite any hypocrisy on his part), and...I guess that's it really. But you're the author! And it's 2:35 a.m. so I shall sleep now and wait desperately for the next chapter which will hopefully arrive before 2011 and before June 29th this year (because then I travel around Europe for four weeks without internet access! How about a fareweel present in the form of chapter 26??) Great story! =)
