Everyone is getting lucky...and Brand is on his way...I'm happy Mayan decided to go to the cops, I know that must have been hard for her. Can't wait to see what come next.

Good grief! There's a lot going on! Brand almost strikes me as a "Garrett" gone bad. The anti-Garrett if you will,intelligent, beautiful, uber masculin, but really bad in this case. I almost wish he would decide to turn his life around. Do good to make up for all the pain he's caused, but that might not make as good a story. Do I detect the possibility of a sequel? Dani is going to continue to help the police on other cases. Sounds good to me. One note that struck me. The detective drives a clutch in New York? That must be a pain in the ass. Happy to see all of the updates.

This is some powerful writing...I find myself holding my breath a lot as I read...definitely intriguing...can't wait to find out what happens next.

Ooh! So much for not having a relationship. I don't think she's going to manage to get away from him. Still worried about Mayan. They're getting closer to finding him. Very exciting! Sorry to hear about the funeral. Hope everyone is doing well.

wow this totally sucks for the police department. just when they had there first big break someone spoils it for them. now they have brand on the run and he knows they suspect him, he'll be even harder to track and capture. i'm really torn about brand...i know he is evil but when he is around maya i see hope for him, or maybe that's just me wanting to find the good in someone. can there be good in anyone who does those evil things to another human? my mind is telling me know...but who knows why people do the things they do...if they find brand i hope that have a chance to question him on why he did what he did and i hope his answers have more to them, then him just saying it was for the money. hopefully they won't just catch brand but all his crazy ass clients that pay him for to do this things to these people. to me, they are just as guilty if not more so. you can stop brand but as long as there is a market for that sick fetish then someone will always exploit someone to get it. it's a crazy sick world with crazy sick people that are willing to go to the furthest links to get what they want and when they want it.

sorry i just went on a rant...but i think it is great when a story provokes something in me and in others that you just have to flush it out and talk or rant about it. your writing does that to me and i appreciate it more than you know.

thanks for updating and i look forward to your other updates on this story and any others you have in the works.
