It took me a little bit to figure out parts of the story line but in the end, I really liked it. I know you posted this a while ago, but I thought I'd send the encouragement your way, regardless.
I always want to be able to go back and look at the story while writing these to make sure I'm not saying things that aren't true. What I mean is, did I just imagine it, or do you slip between 3rd person and 1st person POV? That's generally not something that's encouraged, but I think (since I'm not even sure it happened) that you did it quite effortlessly. Brava!
Anyway, I don't often review, but the fact that you haven't gotten any for this piece shocked me a little and I felt compelled to let you know that I enjoyed it! Cheers
