This wasn't a bad ch. I mean there was still abuse but at least he got a reprieve. I am liking Snake more and more. He doesn't seem disposed to wanton violence. I think he's even showing a sympathetic side.

See, I can't quite figure out if I LOVE what you have done here, are am just down right frustrated lol... See, I would have guessed that a few chapters ago you would have either kept Oscar alive or introduce a guy who would come to save Devin and offer him some hope; but you obviously didn't. THIS intrigues me and I want to congratulating you on doing something that isn't found often in online fiction; yet on the other hand, I'm so concerned for Devin that I kinda want you to give him his happy ending like, yesterday haha ^^; I mean, I have been tearing up for almost the entire story. And while I'm glad you haven't rushed the "let's help Devin out and cause him to see the good in the world, and teach him how to love and be loved!" etc... (in fact, I'm almost tempted to predict that you will do nothing of the sort...just possibly a strange hybrid of that if anything), I can't drop my natural inclination to have me some sweet LOVING!! haha Poor boy needs a break! Like what Snake said! haha Well, I can't wait for you to update so that I can continue to have this internal struggle over how I feel about this story- (but have no doubt that I am a MAJOR fan lol) This is just great. I look forward to each update!! :D

I've been following your story. It is very good and I find myself being really interested everytime you update. I was beginning to think there was no hope for your main character. Then when the other boy was rescued and it seemed he was to, I have to say I had hope that things would get better for him, but now it seems they are worse. Why won't anyone give this boy a chance. It's so said to think that no one cares for you at all...I can only imagine the mental and physical pain that he keeps going through and with no clear end in sight. I hope someone takes pity on this kid and treats him like a human being...soon...before it's too late.

Poor kid! How will he ever survive this? Can't wait to see what happens next...

AAACK you have to update soon...it's crewel to leave Devin shivering on a bed like that!!! Oh who am I kidding, it's cruel to us readers to leave us hanging :-P Wonderful story. Can't wait to read more. **off to check out the rest of your stuff**

Makes me cry- to learn that the only time you are kept is if you are useful- what happened to his parents? How is anyone ever going to find him? How does he help himself?

I had to take a deep breath before reading this to prepare myself. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It was sad and your descriptions of the state he was in were very vivid however it was bareable because it wasn't much different than what he had been through before. Now if only 'Master' could come to his senses. Or at the very least someone could kick his butt just as bad....

Oh, I feel so sorry for him! I hope he gets sympathy from someone soon.
