Yay. Thanks for the update. Forgotten is one of the first stories I ever read on AFF. It is tied with The Last Pure Human for number one on my list. Poor unhappy Devin. At least he got to keep Snake for his caretaker. I can understand how he must feel so much fear and insecurity especially when Keeran tries to make a promise to him. I don't know if I would believe him either. After all Keeran's moods can change so quickly. Anyway, Keeran is certainly feeling very snuggly tonight. That makes me very happy! Very very happy.

I just discovered this story a few days ago after being away from AFF for a while. Now that I've finished the first 18 chapters I guess I'll just have to wait like everyone else. I enjoyed your other story Pain and Pain? You sure can tell a story. I'm looking forward to more.

Not exactly the conversation I was thinking should happen between K. and D. but it's a start. I see more trouble in the future though, since D. letting go of his idea of training and being good doesn't seem likely to change that quickly not to mention that he hasn't figured out K. yet or what he wants, like the man seems to think. I'm curious to see what happens when Snake comes back to take care of him. How will D. react to seeing him after being the one to punish him? I really look forward to the next update and hope it comes soon. Keep up the good work.

(18) Keeran is such a confusing guy and if I'm having trouble figuring him out I can't imagine how confused Devin is. He's sending such mixed messages, he wants Devin to forget his training and yet in almost every interaction that they've had he's treated Devin like his own personal sex slave with no real care, like having sex when he's sick and hurt. I know he seems to be trying to get information but I don't really think that he understands what he's being told. It's like this is all some dom/sub roleplaying game for him but for Devin this isn't just a way of life, it is his life. All this together still makes it very difficult to like Keeran but at the end of the chapter I realized that it's a case of them not being on the same page, Keeran thinks that Devin's eager to have sex with him and I think Devin was just eager to get it over with, although maybe it's good for Devin that Keeran thinks that.
I'm not surprised that it was only after Devin realized that Joey wanted him to be the one to punish him that he was able to, I'm not sure he would have been able to any other way. I loved that Devin called Joey 'Snake', he's always called him sir so I had wondered what it was he would call him out loud, it was really rather cute. But I think that conversation again showed Devin and Keeran's differing ways of thinking, Keeran is thinking Devin should be angry and Devin is just worried that Snake is hurt and hopes he's okay. They're at such different ends of the spectrum that you wonder if they'll ever be able to figure anything out.

I know I've rambled on and on and I'm sorry for that but it was a good chapter and I'm looking forward to the next one :)

so are you planning to get devin a shrink? i think he'll need that when dealing with new changes in his life.

Talk about cliffhanger! How evil of you! But all's forgiven couse of the update. I'm so happy for it.
Poor, little Devin and his Master are interesting couple. I definitely want to know what's going to happen to them.
