Finally Snake and Devin in bed together! Admittedly I would have liked more nudity and kissing, but it's a mid-year Yule present! Thanks, traxie! Another great update.

Wahhhh that chapter was so sweet! Christmas in that kind of a household... so interesting...
And it raises all kinds of intrigue about Ronan (lol in my last comment i think i called him Rowan... sorry about that)... For instance, why a boarding school? was it so that he would be out of the house while Devin was there, was it so that he would be in a different environment to help him through the trauma of his kidnapping?
Also, how is Ronan doing? what kind of issues does he have from that horrible thing he went through? He does give the impression that he is really resilient so is he just absolutely fine after all of that?
Also, how old is he? i know he is younger than Devin but how much younger? 12? 14? 16? Knowing his age would help me understand his character more... there is a big difference between 12 and 16 etc...
It was so cute! the way that Devin curled up in Snake's bed! and Snakes reaction was priceless! as was Keeran's.
Poor little Devin, I always just want to snuggle him up and soothe him... the way he is fearing christmas so much because of his past experiences...
Also, what happened to Gennarelli in the end? did Keeran have him killed? we all want (make that need) to know! that bastard needs to pay!!!!! make his end painful in the extreme please!!!

So exciting! It was the best day ever when you updated chapter 35 and before I could even review it you already have chapter 36! I'm glad the guys (K. and Snake) are understanding him better, but that it's not just a quick fix. I liked that you had Snake explain to K. that D. freaked out about the spare room because of all the shit that happened to him before. I'm a little disappointed in R. I thought when he got back he'd be anxious to talk to D. - pull him aside and find out what was going on, but instead his silence and stares made him come off as angry. He's better in this chapter I suppose, but I'm anxious for when he and D. can talk and become friends. Can't wait for the next chapter. Keep up the great work!

I have to admit I got a chuckle out of reading about Christmas when it's 103 degrees out. I'm thrilled you were able to get another chapter done. I'm curious to see how Snake and Keenan react when they figure out how Devin's Christmas' usually go. Thanks for the hard work.

Just... just... Keel Calm! and breathe!

It's getting ridiculous, but endearing really. In an odd way. But now I wonder who the other presents were from, for Devin.... There were 5 right? Teacher, Snake, Keeran, Ronan and.... who?
I hope someone settles Devin down a bit. How's he going to enjoy christmas like this? *sighs*

(36) Got off to a slightly shaky start, it's too bad that even when Devin relaxes it doesn't last for long. Also it seems that Keeran's training Devin to want to sleep with and be close to someone is working, he's more comfortable when he's with someone. The problem with the plan seems to be that it doesn't necessarily apply just to Keeran.

This definitely shows how tenuous this all feels for Devin, I feel like we're all just waiting for something bad to happen and the inevitable explosion. Although at least he got a hug out of this little confrontation :) I noticed that when it comes to Snake Devin actually takes the initiative with him, it's rather sweet and must be an immense source of amusement for Joey.^^

As for Ronan I wonder if he realizes or feels like he's not getting the whole story about what's going on, he does seem to be a little suspicious of Keeran. Plus I can't help but wonder how difficult it is for Ronan to be next to Devin again considering what kind of memories it must bring up for him.

I don't think any of them are going to have a completely stress free Christmas but hopefully they can get through it without anything major. It was a rather nice chapter, can't wait to see what the rest of the day has in store for these guys ^_^
