I absolutely love your story!!! Poor Devin ;) pls update soon!

Thank god and you of course for the progress between Snake and Devin but Devin's character evolved a lot in this chapter, I just wish for Master and Devin to be a little more lovey-dovey and smexy ;) and to see what Master actually does for a living, So lets see what you come with for the next chapters cant wait...:D

(41) Definitely all good things this chapter, Keeran apologizing, Devin standing up for himself and Joey and Devin are a family :) I think Joey has officially got Devin for life, which I'm glad for since he's the kind of guy you can rely on and will always be there for you.^^

I liked that even though he may have to keep constantly reminding himself that he's allowed to do different things, Devin is trying to make decisions for himself. Joey has been really good for him, he takes care of him but he also makes Devin do things on his own but he still has his back if he needs help. I think he's the reason Devin is gaining confidence, Joey just instinctively knows what Devin needs. It was always so frustrating that Keeran seemed to completely lack any of those instincts or commonsense.

Great chapter we're starting to see real progress with Devin, it's too bad Ronan wasn't still around I think it would have been good for him to have a friend more his age since he doesn't go to school. Can't wait to see where you're going with this, looking forward to the next chapter :)

Yes I know he's a jerk or worse but... He's alone... sigh...

And I'm glad Devin finally found a family :)

i had hoped that attraction aside
that maybe he could be with snake
but even i knew that was a slim hope.
now they are family...
well still pretty awesome either way :)

awwww wow... that was so refreshing and amazing!! to see my little devin standing up to keeran like that... and i just love snake so so so much... and this whole chapter was so long in coming.. but i love the way it has been such an uphill battle... this story is so wonderfully told, the way it is through Devin's point of view, the way we can only ever know as much as devin knows, and we know it only with devin's perceptions colouring everything...
so wonderful!
i literally never want this story to end... but at the same time i can not wait to find out how devin and keeran get back together again... and how their relationship might be one where both hold equal power.

and i forgot to mention that devin finally getting someone to call his family, is so wonderful, i could cry.

This does end up Keeran/Devin right?!? I want Devin to finally come into his own skin, yada, yada but i do genuinely like him with Keeran.

I loved this chapter. It is good to see Devin starting to "stand up" for himself... it will bring about so interesting reactions over time. I think in a weird way Keeran does care for Devin, not as a pet but as a person... he just does not know how to show it to Devin.

Good luck with returning to school. I am sure it will be a change from what you are used to. I know it was for me. As much as I love reading your story when you post new chapters... I would rather wait a bit more between chapters than have you rush them or neglect your health. I would not even mind if you put this story on hold over November, if that meant you did not rush the ending of this story. This story has a complex underlying theme and characters. It would suffer if you rushed the ending, as the two main characters (Devin and Keeran)have a lot of personal growth to cover to get to a normal relationship, regardless if they end up friends or lovers.

I'm so happy Devin finally stood up for himself and you do such a good job showing how slowly he is trying to change. I hate it when a character goes from being totally submissive one chapter then dominant the next. I've read this story a few times now waiting for updates and I had stop lurking and actually review and tell you how much I really like this story. Such complex characters that are so human struggling through an impossible situation. I am definately a fan!
