First off, I think this is a great story. Altho I hate angsty stories,(but what story isn't good w/o some angst?),I do love the deep feelings both Alex AND Michael have for one another. I really enjoy the flashbacks; they let the reader see how these feelings developed and how far back the characters go in each other's lives. (Did that make sense?) So...I am happy you're going to continue w/the story.

Second, yeah, the Jersey shore is the best, right? We had a beach house many yrs. ago in Belmar, one block from the beach. Best. Summer. Ever. I'm supposed to go down to Wildwood tomorrow, but I'm not sure if I'm going to make it. I'm in CT. now, but really miss my Jersey friends! Oh, do you ever catch The Nerds? They're this awesome band who do all cover songs. They're from Jersey and play at so many places down by the shore, Ship Bottom, Point Pleasant, it's all on their website. You should check them out; they're excellent!

i absoloutly love this story!!!!!! when i first read the summary i wasnt sure wether or not to read it because it does sound a bit angsty and, i dont generally like angsty storys because im a bit of a cry baby lol, but im very glad i read this one...the character's are well written and you can really connect with them..especially alex. infact im not sure who cried more; me or him lol
the only downfall is sometimes it gets a bit confusing when your switching between past and present because there's nothing except a gap to tell the two apart. other than that id say its brilliant and i cant wait to read the rest..well done

Was that last chapter supposed to be that short? I only ask because sometimes chapters accidentally get cut off, well that and it was way too short to be a chapter by itself.

I like this story, the emotion and characters in it. However, it's a little confusing to read. You should clearly separate between scenes happening in the past and in the present, and when they switch scenes.

Wow, this story is really great; heartbreaking. But why was chapters 2 and 3 so short? Are you going to continue? I hope so, I'd really love to read more about Michael, Alex, Leanne, Kara, Jeff, all of them!

P.S. are you from Jersey? I noticed another story centered around the Jersey shore. I'm a Jersey girl and I LOVE the Jersey shore; especially Jenkinson's, where The Nerds play!

OMG, it's such a well written piece. I fell in love with Alex and Mike. this is such a bittersweet story and so realistic, I can feel Alex' pain. Beautiful! pleeeeeeeeeeease continue it.
