I love cheese.

I can see Lionel's point, but I'm glad Mikhael understands slavery for what it really is. He may not quite understand how to deal with his pet, but to be fair, he didn't ask for it. I give him huge props for trying to fight the system.

Lionel to save the day! Looking forward to more Selix *pretty please* in the next chapter.

You know, in the beginning I didn't like Selix AT ALL. But he has totally won me over with his silly little loving heartbreaking way. And maybe because he's so misunderstood when he tries so hard. I say Go Selix Go! xD
And I totally love Conner. To bad I got to see so little of him. Oh well, next time. x3 It also makes me glad that Vesperian (how the heck do you spell that???) is so concerned with his "pet's" first capture. The two of them are so interesting. Selix and his man are also very interesting. Can't wait for the next chapter. xB

Poor Selix. He is trying so hard. Little does he know that he does have Mikhael's attention. It was funny to watch Connor plotting his possible escape plans at every turn. I think Selix definitely needs some loving.

I liked the confrontation between Selix and Connor, though somehow a lot of issues seem to be left unsaid. The born-slave vs free-born-slave discussion can go in a lot of directions depending on the circumstances and people involved... but I guess Connor isn't too interested in discussing things as that would imply interest in the other side's motives. XD

As for updates being one week late on aff.net: ...why? For me personally it's easier to just wait here since I check the archive anyway, I'm lazy that way. XD Dunno about other readers though, so you jut do what works best for you.

Arrrgh! You keep leavin' me hangin'! I can't wait to read more of this one too! Unsurprisingly my favorite character is Connor. I love his smart mouth. I think you did a very good job with the myths and with the way they're dealing with each other. I don't like all the characters particularly, but I think they were very well-played no less. I'm looking forward to the next chapters. Oooonto your next story!
