DEFINATELY a better ending! I was near tears after the first one! YAY for Psymon NOT dying!!! The only thing I am a little curious about is Chad and Troy. I really want to know if Troy ever manages to move on or if Chad manages to find someone for himself! This was a fantastic story!

OHMYGODOHMYGOD!!!!! I have happy roars to the max right now! I wanna flail and squeal and be all crazy happy! ^_^ I was just checking out the original slash section, which I've gotten into a habit of looking at; it's an easier way to find out what fics that I read have been updated, since I read a lot in this section. And I spayed your story at the bottom and what did I see; NEW ENDING. I thought I was going to hyperventilate or something! So I went to the last chapter and read and read and was like, is it going to be happier this time, and then then then! OHGAWD he gave Psymon his kidney; that is so romantic and just wow! I love how you did that. You still made it sad; because of Sky's hurt and Psymon being with Ace and whatnot, sadness to the perfect degree, and just when the reader thinks GODNO!, Sky is a fucking sweetheart and gives him his kidney! The 6 months later was really cute too; I love to read how they interact, makes me grin and giggle. I am sooooooooo happy you changed the ending; it is fabulous!!!!!!!!!

Thank you very much for sharing your story and your talent. There are many stories that I start in the slash section, but for some reason or another, mainly the characters are one dimensional asshats who have no redeeming qualities or they are just poor archetypes with no soul...or, and this is the big one here, the stories are not updated regularly, I lose interest.

No so with this little nugget of yaoi goodness and pain. As an author on AFF as well, I have gotten comments from my readers saying that they couldn't bear the pain of reading my stuff. I didn't get it at the time because I've never really got caught up with other peoples characters but it hit home with your story. I paused in in my reading when Bradly died. I kept seeing it come back to the top of the list but didn't want to go there for a bit. I started up again but then I actually stopped reading until I noticed you were finished after Psymon fucked off for the last time. I just couldn't take any more anguish on behalf of Skylar.

Yes, Psymon was self-destructive and yes in the real world asshats such as ACE never get what they truly deserve. I am glad that you have this a bittersweet ending. A new beginning in a new place. I've added you to my must read section. I look forward to more work from you.

Ohmygod. I wasn't prepared for any bit of that ending. It's so depressing. I'll admit; I cried. I know you probably don't want to hear that I didn't like the ending, but, I didn't. Hated it really. But; I freakin' totally so so so loved this story. It was amazing. I love your writing, and so many interesting (maybe not alway good) things happened, and you have so many amazing characters that I feel in love with. So no rantyrantyness about what I hated, just an ending review to say; I did love it. Keep on writing.

Not to disparage Gallaudet university, since I know it actually provides great education, but you need to pay more attention and lear not to quote out of context. What I said is that AIDS doesn't usually spread through kissing or oral sex (fallatio). It spreads through semen and blood. Normally neither of these is in your saliva therefore that rules out kissing. Swallowing semen also does not spread the HIV virus. Semen needs to contact blood or the uterus in order to ifect. Normally your mouth does not have open wounds. The only other route of ifection after you swallow is in your digestive tract. Scientifically speaking, for viral concentration (Multiplicity of infection, MOI)to be sufficiently high enough to penetrate this route, you would have to swallow a bath-tub-full of semen.... hard to do...

That being said, I am also not trying to encourage unsafe sex. Personally, I never practice fallatio without a condom (for the even rare cases of HIV transmission through mouth wounds = just like the risk of a condom breaking during itercourse).

As you can see, what I am saying is NOT that you can't get HIV through sex. I was trying to point out extremely common misconceptions that make the lives of HIV positive people very very hard.

Either way, I liked your story.

WOW my eyes are all watery you touched some hard topics, ones i think need to be voiced, even though they're hard to think about.
i really enjoyed your story and the characters loves and pains, you gave them depth and truth. even tho i've never been in any of those situations, I somehow felt like i could relate throw their emotions.

Surely you missed several more opportunities for more sadistic treatment of your characters and their lifestyle! Or is the purpose of story to teach a moral lesson about the graphic dangers of the gay Life?
