I'm really starting to hate Akitra... I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and see if he just had issues but now I think he's just evil and spoiled; thanks for the update!

This story is excellent. The grammar and spelling are very good, better than mine... :P And I like the storyline. The characters are fascinating, especially the were shark. Are you going to do more with him than have him be a peripheral character? Your descriptions are vivid and detailed. Great job, and I look forward to reading more of this in the future.

CHAPTER 18
Didn't Maika say: "... I will slit your throat and watch you die" if Jak told anyone about his wings? And now he mentioned it to Zaiden. Someone is in trouble :)
Akitra is coming after mages, it seems. He must be really set to find the one who can do the job.
Very nice plot development.

I really am trying to figure out who the love interest is. XD Izeri, the roomate, or Mr. wereshark! Also, Mr. "I come from Earth" makes me curious!
I got the general idea of the days of the week names, but it would be nice if you sorta wrote a glossary for some of these words, worlds, and customs. That way if we need to know we can look it up, or if we forget. XD Just a suggestion!
Also, I don't know if you ever described Jak before, but It would be awesome to know what he looks like. XD I'm picturing him right now as having earth tones as far as hair, eye, and skin color. However, he could be totally different looking for all I know! o_o;;; All of the other characters have good descriptions though! :D
