This makes sense. I mean, why the hell would the Vampires come out of hiding and make a coup. There has to be a better reason than just benevolence. I'm jaded enough to not believe that is anyone's motivation any more. (Oh, woe is me and my black little heart) Fear. Absolute terror of being wiped off the face of the earth is a reasonable motivator for the restructuring of society.

As for Chuck. Never did like him. Too chummy with too many at the sex hostel. Another little surprise - Chauncey Towers! George has been trying so hard to get back to him and there he is in the front seat all along. Another surprise moment. Good job!

Side note, my mother's border collie is called Chauncey and it just kills me to read it. I keep popping the dog's face in my mind's eye. To make matters worse, I keep calling her Vanna (former border collie)

Where do you prefer your reviews? Here or Livejournal? I've reviewed in LJ, but thought I'd reiterate how much I love this update! Thanks for the Chapter 24 Abrams/Darlene reference. Chuck is magnetic in his own way, with his own vigilente style - but disturbingly shifty (by his own account). So convenient for Geo to stay with him... at home. Wondering why Chuck doesn't mention Geo's desperate IM, that he was willing to do anything? ;-) [LJ: Regnet]

omg OMG OMFG!!! I was literally saying that out loud a couple of times. This chapter made me smile so much.

I LOVED how you changed George's experience with this feeding. more vampire/human history yay! I kind of get what Chuck (or should i say chauncey? LOL his name makes me chuckle..chuck...harhhrahrhahaha!) is trying to say about controlling humans to keep them from destroying the world. Can't wait to hear the other half of his story!

Poor George though. If Chuck is Chauncy, I can see why Chuck wouldn't want to be George's patron (for recognition issues or issues of being more noticed than usual). I wonder what they'll do. But anyway I can't wait to see how George'll react to this news!! Hope he can get more answers before his time runs out. XD

the way you described george's feeding...of himself...lol...was awesome. i wondered what it was like from the vampire's POV. GREAT AWESOME MOST AMAZING CHAPTER YET!!!! It makes me excited! and cute picture of george too!

Poor George, and yetch- to find out that humans are being mindcontrolled to that extent. In other words he has no choice no choice at all. And yet there is a serious problem with the vampires.
