aw, eff... damn Chuck!! i really don't like him. : / I want Jeffy!!!! though he needs to knock off the "conditioning" business. Hopefully our favorite human stays strong- pending Jeffrey kicking Chuck's ass of course!!

Nooooo! I came to the end. It's horrible. Somehow I like both the vampires. I guess I like Chauncey better. He's old, I like the idea of a very old, ancient, mythological vampire ruling them all.

For a moment there I was getting to like Jeffrey and thought maybe George would do well with him, but then Chuck came in and dashed all that charm away with his reasoning (that Jeffrey was a wimp; even Jeffrey sounds like he's lying to himself sometimes especially with his "I can take you on I can fight" attitude....dude can't throw a rock!). j/k j/k.

But yeah, if George went to J's harem I wonder if J would even be able to keep a hold on George.

Anyway I am rooting for Chauncey-Chuck, just because I don't want George to get brainwashed. But Jeffrey seems like an okay guy. Hopefully they can come to an understanding half way through their battle! Or maybe Jeffrey will flee. XD

Since George knows too much about Chauncey..Chuck...chuck is easier to type....since George knows too much I'm guessing that chuck HAS to take in George or else George might (unintentionally) spill the beans about everything. At the same time I wonder if chuck is going to tamper with George's memories since the info might still leak out when/if George gets bartered around.

Awesome update, again! I can't wait to see what happens from the battle, or where George's dad and Wally are (Jeffery doesn't seem to have a lot of man power on his side; I can't help but feel suspicious that he just tied them up somewhere). That job thing was pretty funny. From what we've seen so far vampires seem like leisurely people who don't have to work. But I guess we haven't seen their working/corporate side mostly because George is like a runaway luxury item, so he deals with different sorts of vampires (the rich ones). Who will win??? What will happen!!! We'll just have to wait. Loved the chapter!

OMFG! This is one of the best stories I have ever read. All of your characters are so well written, so thought-out, and so real (well, to the extent that vampires can be real, lol). And the world you created is just so great; it's something I can totally imagine as actually happening. And the way you introduce concepts about the world itself is so subtle; it makes it easier to fully get into the story. I have no idea which vampire I want to win; I love them both! Is Gregory gone for good, like is he really dead? I liked him a lot as well.

Overall, I adore this story. For the past two nights, I stayed up much later than I should have just so I could keep reading. This story is so good, I think you should publish it. (Of course, that would mean that I'd have to pay to read it, hmmm.)

Everytime I think there's nowhere left to go you twist in a new direction. Masterful. Your characters are a joy to read.

I'm so addicted to this story, and my heart lurches a bit whenever I see an update. Unfortunately, it's one of those super epics where every chapter just leaves me wanting rather than satiated. Agh, and I've grown fond of Jeffrey, I have a feeling he'll get out of this one somehow, considering how resourceful he is... at least I'm hoping so? It's hard to tell, but he seems like the lesser of all the evils thus far that George has to choose from. Chuck's sudden change of heart was a bit off-setting to me. I'm also wondering when (if?) Gregory will pop up again, and where the ultimate conclusion of this story is working toward. Hope to see an update soon!

Oh! I absolutely loved the chapter!
I have only one problem : I don't know who I want to win!
And I don't want George to be brainwashed... I guess I will know what will happen in the next chapter...

You know, I think the one who’ll win will be Jeffery. I think that because Chuck seems tired and worn. It seems to me that he’s putting up this facade of power he isn’t feeling. And I also think Jeffy will win because he’s been such a consistency during the story. Though still. If I was Chuck and lived a life where I had to kill other vampires, I would make sure to drink their blood to strengthen myself. If I knew I would be killing them over and over, I’d take every precaution I could to secure my victory. Building my powers with vamp-blood would be the sure way of doing just that. On the other hand, I don’t know how the vamp-community would react to having vampires drained. To have them killed off, okay. But if vamp-corpses started showing up with a bit too much blood loss, the rest should get nervous about who was gathering power from vampire blood. Hmm…

I also agree with Jeffy about he’s reasons to not wanting Chuck to have Geo. If we have to think vampy, Chuck showed a hug disinterest in the boy, in fact just shrugged him off. Jeffy was talking about how we earn different things, and clearly Chuck has done nothing to earn Geo. He didn’t even care when Geo begged him to take him. I’d say “a little too little a little too late, Chauncey boy.” I know he had his reasons, but if he really cared, he could have spoken up for Geo and then have him relocated to a nice vamp, or something. As it played out, Chuck just didn’t care. So I say, pick up your hatches and hand the blood-thermos to the girly boy-vamp. It’s going to suck for Geo whatever happens to him, so he might as well go to someone who devoted himself to him from point one. And he could do worse than Jeff. Even though he has a stick up his ass just like all the rest of his community. They are the stick-up-their-asses-people. And they don’t have a fan club. Well, other than those whom they’ve brainwashed of course.

Am I blabbering? I think I am blabbering. I should stop. In fact, I should be sleeping. Why am I even awake? And how am I to reconquer my bed from my snoring enormous dog? Yeah…

So, nice story :3 More please :3 And all that ^^

That's it I hate the vampires and that the humans havent figured it out yet. erg Poor George desirable and yet not even seen as other than a commodity. I dont know who I hope wins I really don't it would be better in some ways if it was Chuck but then again Jeffrey is determined.
