You are an effing miracle. I went away for awhile cuz I couldn't stand only getting one chapter to read at a time, so now I come back and get all these delicious chapters to read and holy hell!! I'm gobsmacked. I literally cannot remember the last time I read something so original and deeply thought out. George is freaking awesome. He's such a normal guy and I love the inner conflicts and how he struggles between fight or flight and picking his battles. I love how the vampires are evil bastards one second and the next they're sounding reasonable! One minute they're promising broken bones and the next their seducing him. The author's note in chp 13 said something about chp 14 being just porn. . . that was not JUST porn. That was SO much more than just porn. I bow before you.

I feel loved that you posted this today! ;-) And I love you for doing it too! Thanks for the breathlessly hot seduction - I feel bad he didn't get a chance to taste the actual blood. yeah jeffery coming back ^^! Would it b just to much of me 2 hope 4 a happy ending where jeffery steals him away and rapes him everyday? Yeah i thought so lol... ok...Gregory is a freaking God! I didn't like him at first, I was like, nooooo Jeffery, swoop in and do the narky vampire thing, steal him away etc etc etc...but now?!! All I can say is Gregory if freaking HOT! I hope he snavels Wally too. I love meat axes like Wally. They make me want to bite them and tickle them.
On a serious note though...this is juuuussstttt brilliant. It feels like everytime something happens I sit there for a few moments after it thinking, yeah, it would be like that, wouldn't it? I am just blow away with how much thought and rational (is that the right word?) that you've put behind every little thing. It's just fantastic, and totally convincing in its detail. I love the political flavour of the story, the smut, the romance of it even...especially since it isn't the corny harlequin romance, but more of a physical, primal need beneath the a glossy cover. More like love being a chemical reaction, rather than an act of providence, if that makes any sense...probably not, I'm gushing hehe. The part where Gregory made George experience how much vampires loved humans? Freaking fantastic. Deadset, I think I forgot to stop breathing and when he said that he'd just given him a taste of what it was like (vampires attraction to humans) I was like...ah ha! Freaking amazing. Ok, I'm really gushing now. I'm going to stop. freaking amazing. I LOVE this.
Oh and.... I tried so hard to like Twilight, really I did. I thought, if everyone loves this so much and it's like some epic love story, I have to like it! So I dragged my husband along to see the movie...
....and sat there apologising to him for two hours hahahahahaha. I felt so bad for doing that to him. I felt so bad for doing that to ME! I've never seen two such annoying stars in my life. Five minutes into the movie and I wanted to strangle them but I would have felt rude if I'd just got up and walked out.
So yeah, I've been checking everyday for updates on this story and I haven't done that on aff for a long, long time. This is just brilliant! Thanks so much for posting it for us lowly mortals to read lol. YOu are just brilliant!
