Yay! I <3 Jeffrey. They should all join the resistance together. I could sooo see Jeffrey swinging for the other team.

I loved this chapter. I am happy Jeffrey is back.
How I understand George! I would hate the idea of someone taking control of my feelings, thougths and everything that makes me be me.
But still I like Jeffrey : that is a bit of a paradoxe!

Fabulous!! thanks for yet another brilliant update! ;-) Really love how Jeffrey is doggedly tracking George. It's way too sweet and romantic. Maybe he IS the resistance. ;-) How does he do it? Did he bug the car?

Another wonderful chapter, you tease you. God I love Geo, he's so determined to drive all those vampires crazy. His obstinacy is so entertaining. It seems like Jeffrey with his masochistic streak might be the only one who would put up with him. I hope Jeffrey makes a bigger appearance in future chapters he's so fun. Love it!!!

Oh god, I had a bitch of a day-but it doesn't even compare to these two guys lol I also hope Jeffy is doing alright!! haha I decided I DO like him! Every time I check in and see that you've updated I let out a small happy yelp. That's how good this story is.
No exception with this chapter, actually I think it was one of your best.
You really managed to put me in George's shoes and made me feel like I was struggling along with him and Wally. I was literally holding my breath during the escape to the river, and you've made Abram a really creepy asshole while still keeping him all good natured and congenial.

I'm actually starting to warm up to Jeffrey. In my mind, he's gone from an asshole to a slightly more sympathetic asshole. Liked that he was the one responsible for blowing their cover and landing them all into trouble, after being unbearably smug earlier about our two heroes uselessness for escaping and laying low.

I like the image of Wally and Geo floating down the river. Very Mark Twain =D

Maybe time to hook up with the local La Resistance? Would be awesome to see some underground anti-vamp activity. Speaking of that, is there some vampire weakness that our heroes could find out and exploit? Even the field a little. But just a little =)

You rock and I can't wait for the next chapter.

AWESOME chapter! I like how the vampires keep underestimating the humans, and getting fucked for it in the long run! I bet Nadette's going to be soooooo mad she'll rip into that creepy vamp guy! And it's cute how george kinda cares for jeffrey. kind of. haha. george-lovin'....that's all that's on my mind. i bet he'd stab me for that thought. XD

i like your descriptions and yhow in touch this fictional world is with reality. i mean, especially with that freezing river and hypothermia thing (not a lot of people would even think about adding descriptions of what it feels like swimming in a freezing river, descriptions that seem so accurate and real and applicable to the real world). and how hard it is to breathe when the water's so cold. gosh it's scarey.

anyway, george and wally are off on the next leg of their journey! i can't wait to find out what happens next!
