Woah. Didn't see that coming.
I hope Mason had nothing to do with it! T_T

It is amazing how much you manage to fit into each chaptere. When I read about Ricky's execution I got the feeling that there would be a revenge killing. So the warfare begins. This is the sexiest achingest torturous love relationship. Poor Jake has truly sold his soul to the devil. What will be left of him when his contract is up? Mason is trying to turn Jake into a cold blooded killer but he is really just breaking his heart again and again.

I think Jake finally snapped.....SWEET!!! *evil laughter now*

oh snap! wow o.o I hope for Mason AND jake's sake he's mistaken in thinking that Mason did anything. lol can't wait to read more!

It would be completely out of character of Mason to envelop Jake into his arms and whisper sweet nothings to him after that, but one can hope?? haha actually I'm sure the man would slap me for even thinking that ^^; But that was a really intense scene you wrote! definitely brought tears to my eyes. I am curious to see whether or not Jake's family (i.e. Obi and the others) will/can do anything to lessen his punishment? I mean, that's what "family" members do right? haha Not to mention it was Mason who decided to lure Jake into that concept...just saying :P can't wait to read more!!

Great work, very intense as always!

This was a good chapter. Like, I don't know, it had this "just right" ring to it. It's fascinating how Jake is falling into his "dog" role. It's a tender balance between staying who he is (cause if he changed the whole thing would be moot) and changing because he has to.

Love the story!
