as promised (and just because you begged with the timely puppy-dog eyes -- the fact that i love you not withstanding), my review:

just so you know, i'm going to read this whole story over again, beginning to end in one sitting later just to get the whole read-it-all-at-once feeling. i love this story. it made me laugh, made me confuzzled, and then made me laugh some more, all the while making me sit on the edge of my seat. (damn those long breaks after cliffhangers!!! *shakes fists towards sky*)

i don't want it to end, but since you're not going to write more, i'll have to suffice myself with my imagination and the dreams my unconsciousness comes up with. don't stop writing, you're great at it. i might be slow sometimes (not a jock!), but once i get your jokes i'm either more confused or laughing my head off. hopefully going to talk to you soon!

but hm. nice direction this one is going into. in the 1st chap it gave a feeling like the 'story' your main chara is writing about is BSC, it even has somehwat similar titles?
but now that both guy A and guy B are the jock's of the story.... then maybe not XD

This was a great wrap up...This was one of the first times that I felt like I was part of a story...Thank you for sharing this and I look forward to reading your future and current works. You rock! Congratulations on finishing this story, you should be proud!

I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed Slash Work. I started reading it last night (getting out of work really late, needed to unwind afterwards), and stayed up WAY too late, wanting to read more even I was losing consciousness from lack of sleep. :) I had to force myself to bookmark it after 6 chapters and go to bed. I hated having to go run errands and such today, only wanting to get back to your story. Coming back to it very late this evening, I was again amazed at what a great read it is. You have a rare talent. You might not write as a serious career choice, but you have a gift that can't be ignored and should be recognized. I've read alot of stories on here, some ok, some not so great. This story surpasses some of the best ever. The way you wrote about the characters in this story, weaving them together with the ones in Nick's story was awesome. I can't remember the last time I wanted so badly to get to the next chapter and still felt sad that I knew that reading each one brought me closer to the finale. I just wanted it to go on..and on...
I'm sorry I didn't read it sooner and been able to review as you were writing it. I am so glad that I can check out your other stories and know I still have some great reading to look forward to. Thanks for all the time you've spent entertaining us. With school and work and everything else going on in your life, I don't think some readers always understand the sacrifices of time that most writers make to keep updating. We get impatient, hungry for more when we're reading something that's written so well that sometimes we expect miracles in the updating. I try not to do that, but I think I would have felt that way if I'd found your story earlier and had to wait patiently for your updates. Regardless, the story was fantastic and was a wonderful escape from everyday life for me. That's always the BEST kind of reading. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. All the best to you.

LOL I just started reading this today (good day to pick huh). Anyways, I loved the end where he realizes his boyfriend is the author it just kept playing over and over in my head "I'm going out with Juvenile Wizard" lol. Can you imagine someone saying that? Well, obviously you can, you wrote it but that's besides the point. Oh I also loved how juvenile=young, sage=wizard lol very cute. I enjoyed your story very much, and it was the perfect way to aid in the procrastination of my piling schoolwork. So with that though....*goes to work on her crappy assignments*

Ack, I read it in one siting...you stretched my brain...seriously great, intriguing, and original! It was really interesting to read a story within a story from the perspective of the author. The two story lines blurred to varying degrees, and kept me concentrating on the plots. It was unusual to be able to read the author's thoughts about the reviewers and the writing process. As a reader of slash fiction, I found this particularly interesting since I have not posted any stories myself. The story was a good reminder of how much many authors appreciate appropriate reviews. I feel a little crappy for not writing more reviews, but I hate leaving generic ones like some of your characters, and I ofen get sidetracked...Anyway, your story touched upon so many different levels, I'll just say it was fantastic, and wonderful to read something that explored cliches, but epitomizes the meaning of original slash fiction.
