*crawls in* Need. Update. *reads chapter*

I love your story it´s really sweet and funny...
I hope you don´t plan to update just every labour day....in my country it´s only once in a year ;)

So I know it's only been a day or two since I last reviewed, but I hoped we could chalk it up to my having missed a couple weeks before this. I was kinda hoping for an update to magically appear and get me out of this emo state I'm in. I just finished reading this story that ends with everyone but the main character dieing (most of them by burning) and the main character ends up going insane because of it. How much of a downer is that? The series ended and you think everyone died and then the epilogue comes and says he lived but went crazy. I dunno. I'm a happy-ending kinda girl. I don't think there's any way for Independence to have a sad ending, so I think I'm safe here. Anyways, that's what made me think of you this time: looking for a pick-me-up before the crappy part of the week starts.

Anywho, just wanted to say that I'm still pining after your next chapter and that I would totally be willing to share my harem of hot guys with you if you would continue to update.....and if I had a harem.....damn.

Hello again! I was reading on fictionpress and all of the sudden in the middle of reading a really good chapter I just had to come over here and express my undying love for you and your story again. I know I've cheated on you with other stories, but...I mean...there'll never be another story like yours and I always come back to you! ((leaving the other story in the middle of a chapter made me feel really guilty though...like as if I had yelled "Independence" in the middle of *coughs* I mean, guilty, yes, very guilty....))


Speaking of guilty, I'm so sorry I haven't been reviewing every week like I said I would! Midterms kicked my butt. Ugh. I'm probably still going to cheat on you though. I'M SORRY! I don't mean to! I mean, well, if you put out another update OF COURSE I would be reading yours instead, it's just, you've left me wanting and needy so now I have to go elsewhere to get my fix. But you'll always be my #1. Ugh, I feel like such a literary slut.

No. No I haven't seen a cat growl. They hiss. A hissy lex just does not compute in my mind. Oh well, we'll find out what he is eventually...OH! Do you think his can-not-change period is over yet? What do you think the circumstances for his change will be? I mean, will it be a heroic standing-up-for-his-man((or brother)) type thing or a back-off-I'm-nobody's-bitch thing or just a startled-by-something-and-accidentally-changed thing?


*sighs* I'd love an update. If I could I would ask you to update with a really posh British accent, but I can't. Alas, I am but a SoCal girl. *sighs again*

Just found your story today, began and finished it in an hour or so. Really good plot, well thought out story. Nice characters. Cant wait for an update.

I'm so sad. I was checking to see if you had updated cuz I've been craving this story for a while now and, well, on my recommended reading section I usually give how many chapters each story currently has partly so people know how many chs to expect and partly so that I know when someone updates as opposed to when it's just been so long that i dont' recognize the chapter immediately. So, well, I saw Independence there and it said "7chs" so I come and then I see 8 and was completely extatic! I mean, you have no idea whatsoever how giddy I was to be able to read an update! It was better than chocolate and an unexpected day off combined! And then I started reading it and was like...wait...this looks familiar...ah damn. I just didn't change the number of chapters last time I read this. AW MAN! Ugh.

So I feel cheated. An update was dangled in front of me, I bit, and there was a big shiny hook that proceeded to try to kill my moral (morale? hmmm, spelling's never been my strong suit...)

So ...yeah. I'm depressed now. *wallows in self pitty wishing she had brownies or, better yet, chapter 9 of Independence to soothe her melancholy soul*

But alas, I am left updateless *pointed sideways glance*...*cough*

Then again, I'm not one to talk. I royally suck at updates. I mean. I have one chapter that I posted AGES ago...I blame my muse. He refuses to work in chronological order. It's always "oh we should make this happen" or "wouldn't it be funny if" and I TRY to tell him I just need the next part and then he gets all huffy and refuses to speak to me for a month (aka writers block ensues). ....
